Best episode of this whole entire series!

This episode totally blew me away compared to other episodes in this show. You guys from the crew who did this show: Credits to you! I don't know if you can top this episode. It was like you packed a whole entire journey into one episode. Very emotional and the soundtrack used in this third episode of second season was ... PERFECT

Magnificent! What a show!

Uhtred is back! This new season brings what used to give in the last season, but with more emotional impact! I've chosen this episode because it was one of the best episodes that I've had the opportunity to watch of all series I've ever watched, and because I simply don't understand how underrated this show is. Magnificent, very well produced and the music is simply amazing. The actors performed amazingly, specially Alexander Dreymon and David Dawson. Extremely recommended!

Brutal

This episode was one of the more impactful scenes I've seen in movie or TV....it's right up there with the opening scene of Saving Private Ryan in its authenticity and depiction of how harsh things were for certain people in times past. Nothing was watered down.

As always, the acting, music, directing, etc, were all top notch, and what we've come to expect from this show.

I've heard people say this show is underrated, and based on how few people I know have seen or ever heard of it, that would seem to be true, but I do have to say, that could partly be true to the brutal nature and accurate depictions this show demonstrates might not be for everyone. Nothing is taboo in The Last Kingdom, which is all the worse for knowing that this is exactly how life was for many people during that time. However, I think anyone even mildly interested in the genre should give the show a chance. It took me about 3 episodes to know that I'd be watching this series through its conclusion.

I am going to make a bold statement. This is the best episode of TV I have ever seen. The Last Kingdom is by far my favourite TV show. This particular episode had you on the edge. It was so satisfying I can't even find the words to describe it. I am pretty sure I even let a tear of satisfaction escape. All I can say is that you have to watch it!

This episode moved fast through a years worth of storyline, but a well developed storyline and some amazing moments. Loved Hild taking care of Uhtred, it was so sweet.

Reduced to a soap opera
AsianTalentHollywood13 October 2020
You can only rehash the same idea and be miraculously saved from death so many times before you have turned a series into a bad soap opera. Can it recover from first three episodes of season two?
