I was thinking about how PlayStation is the first console to be actually good today, so by the evening i came to a thought to see if Famicom / Nes even had any games worth playing. So i googled "easy nes games" and this is one of the recommended titles.
Well, i wouldn't say this is an easy game, but this is definitely a not-scammy game. It's as short as most of the releases for the platform, the controls are not very responsive and there are many aggressive enemies. You always run at 3/5 health with no way to fill it (because all of the health pickups are in the secrets). There are attack and range upgrades but those are hidden behind puzzles with a possibility to chose an empty chest.
But this game has infinite continues instead of demanding more coins. And while you have lives there is a checkpoint before the bosses. Which are easy to be fair.
Sportsmen who want to 146% the game and get the perfect score can do just that, and everyone else can beat this game in a day. I wish i had it in my childhood. It's not "good" good with such controls, but so far it's probably the best game on the platform. And there are power-point cutscenes too.
