Meanwhile, a Catahoula Cur named Chloe has an 8-inch long cat toy surgically removed, and Kiki, a cockatoo, needs surgery to stop her bleeding. Then, a six-year-old police dog named Ronny gets a crown to repair his fractured tooth.

At the Houston Zoo, a 17-year-old chimpanzee named Chaos, gets two root canals from Dr. Chanda Miles. There's a limited amount of time that Chaos can be under, so Dr. Miles barely makes it in under the wire. Meanwhile, a seven-year-old mutt named Rambo is rushed in after being hit by a mail truck. Then, a six-year-old red kangaroo comes in with an abscess on his tail.
