Entertaining interview with director Ulli Lommel who discussing his controversial 1973 film TENDERNESS OF THE WOLVES. The film is about a real life homosexual murderer and it caused a lot of issues when it was first made and Lommel certainly doesn't hold back on his thoughts. The director is certainly very outspoken and he tells some wonderful stories about the production of the film as well as its release when some people just weren't quite ready for it. Lommel is certainly a very entertaining figure and he does a great job with his stories and he gives you a wonderful idea of what it was like making the film as well as dealing with the controversy. Fans of the director and the film will certainly be entertained by this twenty-four minute interview.
