Combat Shock: Interview with Buddy Giovinazzo (2009)

*** (out of 4)

Troma founder Lloyd Kaufman interviews director Buddy Giovinazzo about his 1984 film COMBAT SHOCK. The good news is that Giovinazzo tells some good stories. The bad news is that this runs just four-minutes so it's basically another cheap Troma piece. With that said, if you're a fan of the film or of its director then you'll want to check it out as he talks about why he believes the film is more relevant today than when it came out and Kaufman also asks about if he ever wanted to kill himself. Obviously there's nothing ground-breaking here with such a short running time but fans of the film will want to check it out. One just wishes that it was a bit more detailed.
