There are not so many features in the French movie industry speaking of rugby. I loved MERCENAIRE, back in 2016, and also a film starring Gérard Lanvin and Olivier Marchal: LE FILS A JOE. But this one is authentic, made by a passionate film director, who knows what he talks about. A true live atmosphere before, during and after a match among junior rugby teams, a virile, testosterone environment and feelings, groaning, sweating, weeping, bleeding. I would not be surprised if, one day, this director would bring this feature to the big screen, in a long length movie. Don't miss the last image, it contains all the DNA of this outstanding story.
