The title "Dior J'adore: The Absolute Femininity" is fairly telling here obviously as the mention of the very first word makes clear already that we have a Dior commercial here and the director is Jean-Baptiste Mondino, a Frenchman aged almost 70 who is mostly known for his music video efforts. Not too surprisingly for Dior, they got one of the biggest superstars from the world of film right now, namely South African Academy Award winner Charlize Theron. And she sure looks different than in her most recent collaboration with Jason Reitman. But yeah, I did not like this one here at all, maybe because while I don't mind her, I am also not a huge Theron fan. I felt the voice over sounded pretentious and what we see here is despite the nice use of the color gold rather pompous instead of stylish. That's just my subjective opinion though, I would call this one a piece of style over substance, but I am not too surprised if many like it, maybe ecen love it, although that goes beyond my understanding. I'm glad though this was shorter than a minute as I give it a thumbs-down and don't recommend checking it out.
