Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence's long-awaited sister comedy is unlikely to ever come to fruition. The two actresses had revealed in 2015 they were writing a screenplay for a movie in which they'd play sisters but now the 'Trainwreck' star thinks too much time has passed for the project to work.Speaking to Variety for their Power of Women issue, she said: “I don’t think it will ever happen. It was just, like, life kept going. My family was going through a rough time. I don’t want to say any more than that.”Jennifer, 33, agreed: “Now that we’re older, a sister comedy might not resonate as much."But the pair still want to do something together.Amy, 42, said: “The way we’re hoping our careers go, we might do something with more grit and teeth.”Her friend added: "We have every intention of working together.

Amy Schumer was in the zone. This was in March, when she was filming on the street in Brooklyn for her upcoming movie “Kinda Pregnant,” a comedy about a woman who pretends to be knocked up for attention. In one take, Schumer emerged from a subway station while answering a phone call — and was interrupted by a stranger shouting at her from the sidewalk: “Fuck you, Amy Schumer! You’re a Zionist! You love genocide!”
Disruptions of the four-letter variety aren’t unusual in a raucous place like New York, though they’re usually less pointed. Schumer didn’t break character, refusing to stop working as the woman carried on. The actress finished the scene finally, packed up her stuff and went home to her husband and their 4-year-old son.
“It didn’t even raise my heart rate,” Schumer says over brunch at a cozy Brooklyn Heights tavern a couple days later.

Jason Momoa thinks the Super Bowl just might do wonders for his comedy career.
The actor is best best known for his turns in action-heavy projects such as “Aquaman,” “Dune” and “Game of Thrones,” but gets to shake it all off in a new T-Mobile Super Bowl commercial. He will be spotted dancing to Irene Cara’s “Flashdance… What a Feeling” alongside Zach Braff and Donald Faison, the actors who have been part of the company’s Super Bowl efforts for the past few years. Momoa gets doused with water, hits a few high notes in song, does a flip and even meets Jennifer Beals, the actor who starred in the “Flashdance” movie.
“People are just seeing a different side of me,” Momoa tells Variety in an interview, while noting that he’s primarily “known as a dramatic actor” due to the roles he won early in his career. But...

Actress-comedian Amy Schumer, has responded to the backlash she has received for her post, where she had jokingly written that Nicole Kidman was not looking human in one picture. Addressing the backlash, she said, “Breathe y’all”.
Earlier this week, the ‘I Feel Pretty’ star had made a joke about a photo of Kidman attending the US Open in New York, where the Oscar-winner appeared to be super zoned-in on watching the match.
Joking in a since-deleted post that Kidman didn’t look human in the photo, Schumer quickly got heat from fans who thought she was being mean, and even ‘cyberbullying’ the American-Australian actress.
The ‘Trainwreck’ actress, 42, has now issued a statement regarding her comment about the ‘Bombshell’ star, 56.
The actress, after deleting her Instagram post, later returned to the platform to explain that she meant no harm in her initial post.

Amy Schumer is revealing that all was not perfect in Barbieland back in 2016.
Schumer, who was originally attached to star in and co-write the live-action Barbie adaptation, said she will be seeing the “Barbie” movie starring Margot Robbie and directed by Greta Gerwig. However, Schumer said the original Sony film lacked a “feminist” take on the character like Gerwig’s film for Warner Bros. clearly does.
“I can’t wait to see the movie, it looks awesome,” Schumer said on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” adding, “I think we said it was scheduling conflicts, that’s what we said. But yeah, it really was just creative differences.”
Schumer continued, “But you know, there’s a new team behind it, and it looks like it’s very feminist and cool so I will be seeing the movie.”

Martinez can currently be seen playing Chris, the traffic cop buddy of Awkwafina’s Rebecca, in Chris McKay’s horror comedy Renfield for Universal, which hit theaters on April 14th.

Emily Ratajkowksi has “basically quit” acting.
Ratajkowski, 31, revealed that her last audition was for Ruben Ostlund’s satire Triangle of Sadness. She had gone up for the role that eventually went to the late Charlbi Dean Kriek.
The model and author landed her first role in a major film in 2014’s Gone Girl, starring as Andie, the mistress of Ben Affleck’s character.
Following that, she told The LA Times that her team began working on finding parts to prove she was a “serious actress with longevity”.
She went on to star opposite Zac Efron in We Are Your Friends, Amy Schumer in I Feel Pretty, and Marc Maron in an episode of Netflix’s series Easy.
During this time, however, Ratajkowski said she “felt like a piece of meat”.

The production companies seek to force the internet providers to implement policies that provide for the termination of accounts held by repeat offenders and to block certain piracy websites.
The trio of complaints filed throughout September, with the most recent filed Tuesday in Pennsylvania federal court, come from Voltage Pictures, After Productions and Ammo Entertainment, among others. Two law firms, Dovel & Luner and Culpepper IP, are representing the production labels.
