Jacintha Charles' short film, THE GIFT, feels more like a dream than a film as she places viewers in an remote school house in the middle of an enchanting forest that seems to be alive. In a clever way, writer / director Jacintha Charles introduces the topic of bullying in a new and very unique way that traverses across genres of fantasy and horror. The cinematography is breathtaking and the performances, especially from Cassandra Lyback, are wonderful. Truly a uniquely special film and a MUST watch for all!
