Finally the show has started the Sherlock vs Villain of the season rivalry this early. I must say that I got S1 moriarty vs sherlock vibes from this episode. If they keep developing this rivalry per 2 episodes then it would be a memorable one.

Liked this one. Finally got the payoff for this season's foe's actions, and they don't disappoint. It's nice to have Holmes have a main rival throughout a season. We haven't had one since Moriarty. Also, this foe is a mirror to Holmes, but a different way than Moriarty. She was on the same level of his intelligence and way of thinking. This guy represents Holmes' addiction and need for stimuli.
I do have a little issue for the killer here. He comes off appropriately creepy, however the actor comes off as one note in the way he talks.
