I didn't see that coming.

The ending deserves a much higher rating, but overall I think a 7 is a fair score, it's still jumping about all over the place, it's still disjointed to the point of being difficult to follow, but I am still enjoying it. Trouble I have with it, is that I haven't particularly warmed to any of the characters, none of them are particularly warm or nice, they're all a little insipid. It's interesting from the point of view of the media, and Jenna Coleman is growing on me a little, she's doing a great job of playing a character who's dull, cold and uninteresting. Hopefully bigger things to follow.

The ending at least was fantastic. 7/10

Episode 2

Warning: Spoilers
This show really has me hooked and having just four episodes is the right move meaning they won't drag on red herrings for no reason.

I wasn't crazy about the twist ending being revealed in episode two. I thought that should have been saved for the finale, but we'll see how that shakes things up for the next two episodes.

Episode 1.2

Warning: Spoilers
The second episode was more conventional, with less of the jarring differing timelines of the first episode.

With the baby abducted. Joanna is in shock and suffering from guilt as the police question her. There is a media circus surrounding her. Joanna's husband Alistair tells her to play up to the camera to keep public opinion on her side.

Alistair's ex wife was always going to be a suspect over the abduction. This might help Alistair over his custody battle over his daughter. The police find enough evidence to arrest Alexandra.

However the episode throws up a twist at the end of the episode. There was no baby in the car when they pulled up to the store. There was no abduction. Both are colluding to frame Alexandra.

It leaves the questions. What happened to the baby and when?

The end of the episode was a jolt, it certainly livened the series up for me. Until then it was merrily going along in its average way.
