Very funny with strong performances and timing

This was featured on a short film curation website that I use, and I confess that the idea of a 20 minute film in French about cancer did rather give me pause if I would watch it. The opening two minutes of direct rawness made me very happy I did, as a man is very honest with his girlfriend about his initial reaction to the fact that she has cancer, and how that will impact it. It is a brilliant few minutes of shocking laugh-out-loud moments delivery matter-of-factly and with great excess. This leads into the setup for a fun callback, but also into a very funny confrontation of dark humor, sharp writing, and great performances.

The timing and delivery from Touré and Hardt really make the most of the film, and they make the time fly by. It is wonderfully dark and funny from the shocking start through to the silly and very playful conclusion.
