Hilmija wants to leave with Rahela, but she's hiding something. Azra plans to steal Shiling's Hagada, but he's prepared. Rugoba leaves supposed Karadjordjevic heir to Hilmija for safe keeping.
Kresimir, Rugoba and Shiling are all depressed. And to lift the spirits, Shiling organizes Octoberfest in Sarajevo, with the help of his "friend" Ivica. Hilmija wants to become more intimate with Rahela.
Rugoba steals Hagada, but it doesn't go as planned. The partisan command wants Hilmija to get photographic evidence of Shiling's homosexuality. Mustafa Busuladzic wants to pay big money for Hagada.
After being hurt that Rahela chose Jovan, Hilmija thinks he can profit from Shiling's renewed interest in Hagada. The wall of Hilmija's inn becomes riddled with photos of opposing leaders.
While everyone is recovering from last episodes fight for Hagada, Shiling acquires the book, with Himlija trying to get it back. Izet, Hilmija's nephew, comes to visit him and finds a job.
After blackmailing Shiling, Hilmija is preparing to sell the book to Mustafa Busuladzic. The partisans digging the tunnel might finally be onto something.
Both Chetniks and Partisans want Hilmija to seduce Shiling to get intel. Since he refuses, Partisans send their volunteer, and he finds out about Azra. Shiling helps Ivica with his troubles with the law.
Hilmija tasks Krhki to train Durmis to handle being in the presence of Nazis. Hilmija tries helping Rahela get away from Nazi persecution; Shiling does the same for Ivica. Rugoba and comrade Crni fight for Shiling's affection.
Hilmija runs into Radovan, an acquaintance from WWI. Kresimir also meets Radovan, but with worse consequences. Rahela reveals Hagada to Hilmija, but he already has a deal with Kresimir.
