A deep and intriguing continuation.

Jamie is taken on for questioning, Kenny is convinced that the dying man's declaration, 'The Boy,' means Jamie is the man, he gives the damning evidence a bit of extra help.

I can't lie, I am a big fan of Death Call, and I just love the story, I love the complexity of it, I really do love the characters. There are so many great elements here, we have the new couple entering the scene, similar in many ways to The Russells, we have the tension caused by Helen Mendoza, plus we have the chaos caused by Kenny.

So the main thing that came out of this one, Jim and Helen Mendoza, did that actually happen? We learned a bit more about Jim's frustrations back in Knife Edge.

This show definitely brought on some real talent, check that lineup, Julie Graham, Alan Cumming, Paul Higgins and more, all have done so well with their careers.

It is interesting to learn that Cumming was 21 here, although he does look about 17.

I think it's a cracking watch, made back in 1986, it's a story that holds up remarkably well.

9/10.
