Seinfeld did an incredible job of making Mr. Lewis shine in this episode. It was a perfect combination of highlights from Lewis' career and the impact it had on not just Seinfeld but countless others of us. And it is good to know that bacon won't curb our lifespan!

S10: Some good episodes but too many seem overly stiff
bob the moo9 March 2019
I don't think the move to Netflix did anything to this show apart from make it more accessible easier, however this season did strike me as having more episodes than normal which didn't really work. Perhaps it is the show losing some freshness over time, but this season did have that feeling over being overly produced and managed. There are some episodes that produce the goods and feel a lot more natural; in particular Dana Carvey, Ellen, Alec Baldwin - but that could also reflect their professionalism and talent to make it feel like that. By contrast there are a lot of episodes featuring people who don't seem to gel with Jerry, and don't particularly land.

Tracy Morgan's episode is certainly the weakest, but Hasan Minhaj is also very disappointing (considering how strong his comedy special was). These two have consistent examples of weaknesses that run through the whole season in that the discussions are unnatural, the subjects are not particularly interesting, and the edit struggled to find anything useful left to stretch to even a lean 15 minutes. This stiffness was overly present through, with the feel of it trying too hard at times, and mostly it meant that while there were plenty of good episodes, too much of the season had that feel.
