Being a filmmaker myself, I couldn't help but applaud Hemwant Tiwari's audacious approach to connecting with the audience. His courage in bringing forth a one-shot, 1-hour 40-minute black and white masterpiece is truly commendable leaving me inspired.

Although I've stepped away from Instagram, I've urged my team to share any content Hemwant posts about the film. I regret not having as much courage.

Hemwant's relentless promotion of Lomad left no stone unturned. As someone with a keen eye for art works in films, like 1917 with its selective scenes, Lomad's continuous single-shot format for its entire duration is a delightful surprise.

Anticipating it would potentially lack adventure, I was eager to watch at what cost. Lomad began like a drama, seamlessly transitioned into a crime thriller. The use of remarkable tent poles throughout the narrative was sometimes hard to believe, showcasing the profound transformation people can undergo.

Lomad skillfully portrayed the concept that everyone harbors a stranger within themselves. People may present an admirable facade to the world and to their loved ones, but the film compellingly suggests that true understanding requires delving into the unknown - becoming Lomad.

With a plot filled with twists and turns, Lomad captivated and engaged me. The meticulous cinematography, coupled with a wonderful plot, delivered a message alongside a genuine work of art. While the script had its merits, there was a slight margin for improvement.

Lomad left me thoroughly entertained, offering both a powerful message and a visually stunning work of art. Looking forward to meet the man himself one day.

Kudos to the Lomadis of Lomad! Making a single-shot B/W movie like this, requires vision, conviction, meticulous planning, a 'lomadic' street-smartness and above all, a lot of courage! Loved the passion with which each character was portrayed, the usage of the screen real estate, the cinematography and the way the story was stitched together. The forest, the black and white rendition, the background sounds (of chirping birds...) all added to the rustic and raw appeal that made the story-telling even more gripping. Also, how even the time-lapse was depicted, without affecting / jarring the single shot objective. More power to you Hemwant and team Lomad!

Hemwant Tiwari and other actors have performed almost flawlessly in this one shot , 1 hour 40 minutes long movie. The second half is very enjoyable. Cinematography is very good. The locale where it is shot is beautiful. Birds chirping as background score is beautiful. Some of the techniques used for telling a story spread over a year , in a single shot , are excellent. Lomad' s achievement can be understood if you think of all the multi- crore budget movies that have come in recent times and compare them with Lomad, that is made on a less than shoe-string budget. Lomad is surely a very unique movie that requires a unique perspective.

Lomad is world's first single take film , it's hard to believe because when you watch the film it's REALLY unbelievable how the did the slow motion shots in a single take which the director has explained in his interviews.

One has to deep understanding and skills to create something like this. Unlike Irivan Nizhal where I could clearly see a object in front of the camera hiding the screen which is not a single take film but they are advocating it as one .... Where as LOMAD is CLEARLY a single shot film and also entertaining with a good story. I recommend this movie to everyone to watch. Acting is great of the whole crew.

I am surpised with the creation of whole one hour forty minutes in such small area and story is such that you cannot take ur eyes away from the screen . Brilliant acting by the team , they acted like perfect unit . Lomad team has put across theatrical show over the reel in singleshot with brilliant performance. Director has carved a niche with script , twist and turns. It will make u think and learn . A must watch for all the bollywood fans ..amazing use of location and how is it done in singletake .superb. Enjoyed a lot ,it's a very nice movie.i watched this movie last Sunday in PVR Gaur City Mall Noida ,Each and every character has played beautiful role especially Hemant Tiwari the leading character in this movie. I appeal every one please must watch this movie. This is world,s first Black and white single shot movie,I have never seen such single shot movie before. This movie has also won so many awards on international forum including Dada saheb falke award. All actors has given their best performance in this movie ,I wish you all the best to team Lomad. Wow!! Finally I could watch the film before it left the theatres and I am so happy. It is so inspiring for film cinema lovers and upcoming film makers. You not only made an independent film but also released it where many of us don't get theatres you managed to GET IT and even if we do get theatres people don't get to know about the film as lack of promotion budget. But you took a different route and gave us a way that promotion can be done this way as well.

You managed to bring a good cinema to the screen. I enjoyed every bit of the film and was blown away with the whole act in one shot. You managed to show us time lapse and dream sequences, it was simple but because it was never brought to the screens the way you did, so it seemed fantastic.

Never seen something like this. Slowly and gradually you bind us into the story... I have seen victoria and it is only conversation for an hour till the film reaches its main plot but as a maker we know it's important to do that or else there will be no connection.

You did the same and managed to do it so well. It was a smooth ride. Performances are nuanced and flawless, doesn't come across as if anyone is acting. The writing grips you throughout and dude I read about that 48 fps

How can you even think like that?

Just to get a few moments in the film in slow motion you shot the whole film at 48 fps This just blows me away.

One of best black and white movies ever seen.. 1hr 40min with no camera cut.. continuous camera movement.. the efforts everyone of team put together is something beyond expectation.. knowing that during shooting if anyone makes a mistake then you have to shoot the entire film again, for that hats off to actors, cinematographer, the #lomad team... g # and Mr. Hemwant Kumar Tiwari, he is the true gem , actor, director, camera director too, the thinking is out of the box.. #kolkata just go and witness this world-class movie already received 20 awards and 28 nominations and make the records of getting most awards to any black and white one-shot film.

Bismillah ... Creativity at its best , director has optimum usage of location and props .The actors involved were deep into character and everyone gave their best.

Unconventional but extremely gripping, Lomad is a must watch for connoisseurs of interesting cinema. When one is done and dusted with the oft-repeated masala mish-mash of bollywood, along comes a film like Lomad and restores one's faith in meaningful cinema.

Hemwant Tiwari has donned many hats in this one but doesn't let any of them fall. Inspite of it being a low budget, single shot film, with a few narrative slip-ups, Lomad holds up on its own for the sheer honesty and the zeal to do something different by its maker ie Hemwant. Its an effort that needs acknowledgement and appreciation. Kudos to the entire team of Lomad. It takes bravehearts to test new waters and Team Lomad has certainly hit bullseye !

How hemwant Tiwari has managed to tell a story at one location with all the twist and turns. First half is so important for the second half to happen and second half makes the movie so amazing

I have so many favorite films of mine at one location but this is special as it's in ONE SHOT.

The performances are so amazing. The second half chemistry between both the actors is just so awesome

It's crazy to see the breathing the emotions the restlessness the anxiety the psycho element that hemwant has shown in the second half

Being a one shot how did he manage to pull off direction acting writing and being a film maker I know what a chaos it is during shoot. To my surprise he has handled production as well.

The film was a fresh and new experience. I was little dicey about it because of black n white color. But I am so glad I watched it, Quite a roller coaster ride of emotions in this single take movie.

The name , the team, the story, the direction , the location , the panorama , the passion , the dedication , the futuristic vision. Actors must have injected themselves with the script which is reflecting as its singleshot and reshoot will be heavy.
