I read the other reviews first and almost skipped this episode. But I know Billy Bob Thornton is not an idiot. He wouldn't let this get out of hand. And I was not disappointed in the 2nd last scene with David Sullivan as Spencer Jackson. The last little snippet was nothing surprising, but Damn, Billy's back.,

It's Ultimately Simple

As Billy falls apart from some orange juice, there is lots of weird stuff going on. The bad guys are coming out of the woodwork, but when all is said and done, it's about the class action suit. The two young men adopted by Amy Brennigan are strange features in the overall story. Let's see if this is worth the effort from now on!
Super Villains

Warning: Spoilers
The last scene with Cooperman and Marisol Silva sitting at a conference table with Blackwood felt like a meeting of McBride's Super Villains. His arch nemesis from season one, the back stabbing vile wicked witch from season two, and the antagonist from the current season. All together! In one super feature!! Almost has the ring of a old time movie cliffhanger!
Against all these odds will Billy get his act together? Will he win this impossible to really win class action suit? AND will he at the same time take down Cooperman and Marisol Silva (proving somehow she is connected to the water crisis)??? It would be great if he did but would also be a big step towards this show becoming a cartoon.
And does anyone else feel we are getting a watered down McBride this season? Billy Bob seems hardly interested.. or is McBride still hurting after Mexico? Or is this the final season in a three season contract and he is just walking through the role?

Started out as a good series, but is dying fast . . .

I can't tell whether I am watching Goliath or Twin Peaks any more. I keep expecting agent Cooper and the dancing midget to show up any time now.
It's like being on LSD and trying to make sense of a writer/producer that is on better LSD.
I gave up on Goliath after five episodes this season . . .

Fear and Loathing in Central California

There's a little bit of The Stand in this third season of Goliath, which is also the weirdest, and those stranger things, so to speak, are both a distraction to the viewer and the story, so it's unclear as of yet, in the middle of the story with the return of Billy's rudimentary foe, William Hurt as Lizard Man, and... anyhow... where was I?
Okay, so we're back on track from the last episode that was all a kind of flashback, and it's slow moving here... And weird, too... Or has that been mentioned? For many viewers, the use of the absurd i.e. things going on in a tripper's mind, could either make this season famous or infamous... God only knows...

This Season. What a mess!!

Warning: Spoilers
This season seems to be a drug induced mish-mash of useless information that seem to have no relevance to the story. What were they thinking? Lauren Tom's character is so annoying you will want to skip over any scene she is in, or clench your teeth to brave through them. The drug induced scenes are annoying and tedious to watch. Billy's drinking wasn't enough they have to drug him as well. They couldn't win so they drug him to sabotage the case...All in all, this whole season was a chore to watch. I'll finish the season, just to to be fair to the series, but I don't have high hopes to get through it.

Not funny, just stupid

I guess this episode was supposed to be sorta slapstick-style funny, but it's really just stupid. Very disappointing because I've really enjoyed most of the 3rd season so far. Now, I'm not sure if I'll get through this episode, much less the rest of the season.
Mildly entertaining

Rubbish

Absolutely rubbish the show was one of my favorites on tv and they've gone and ruined the whole thing for me. I really don't know what they were trying to go for with this but I wish they'd just have stuck to the original concepts in season 1 and 2. Whole thing is creepy and doesn't make any sense at all.
Who writes this stuff?

The dialog would be decreased immeasurably if the F word and all other cursing were eliminated. It is incredible that actors of this caliber would participate in this farce of a series. I have watched and enjoyed series and plots and acting on network television that had zero cursing. I don't have a problem that a character may have an occasional curse word--which would be realistic. But just a very generous helping of the F word does not guarantee a good plot, good writing or good acting. I am letting the series play to see what they do with it, but my opinion goes lower the further I watch. Billy Bob, Wm. Hurt, Dennis Quaid, and Amy Brenneman et al have done superior work many times in the past. I can't imagine how they ever could justify spending valuable time on a project such as this. I am really befuddled!
