Certainly surprising

I agree that the surface stories (and animations) are becomming kookier by the episode, but given the current state of politics how else can they demonstrate fiction?! Personally I'm enjoying the fractious and confronting nature of the plots so far, done in a way that almost pulls you into a playful sense of complacency when we should be thinking "Whoa how is that acceptable?!" Requires some brave writing.

The One where a Nazi Gets Punched
bobcobb30125 April 2019
Warning: Spoilers
The Blum character may get a chuckle out of me each and every week, but it just disrupts the flow of the show too much. It is not what The Good Fight is about.

I was fine with the conflict at the polling station until the riot. That was just too over the top.

Smart and topical
clieberman3615 February 2020
The show's animated shorts remind me of Schoolhouse Rock cartoons (from back in the day) about how a bill becomes a law, etc. This show is smart, funny, engaging, dramatic, and oh so topical on politics, racism, class, gender inequality and more. This "punch a nazi" episode reminds us of the power of social media and how the presence of TV cameras can quickly turn a situation to violence.

Punching Nazis is Fine, Everything Else..

I appreciate so many of the characters in this show. However, these horrible sub-Barenaked Ladies music videos and new lawyer character have ruined the experience of watching The Good Fight. Will return to watching once those items are removed, if ever.

Finally brilliant

TGF is finally back on track! Brilliantly written and acted episode, a legal case, courtroom scenes, little politics! They can still make a good show when they stop with the experiments. Blum and the cartoons are irritating though

Finally a good episode worthy of this season. Michael Sheen is great actor, but not yet convinced the character he plays belongs in the show. I do not like the cartoons...please for not continue with them.

Keep Blum's angst
yahaira-729-69470126 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Michael Sheen is the flippant erratic kick ass addition to the show and definitely spices things up. Yeah he is obnoxious but lucrative in his misguided mission to win at any cost. This second helix suit is a parody of how big pharmacy wins cases and perhaps they will be challenged by Blums outrageous tacits. This episode shows how the Dems need to play hard ball to win the election and Diane and Liz decide to stay with the righteous group. The issue of equal pay amongst the firm is revealed to be unjust but not really settled. The ultra right and trumpsters are out to create fake news so the dems are also playing with this strategy. In retrospect, this shows does depict the shanengans of the trump era. And I agree that the Maia charcter us irritating the actress has a problems with her voice projection The school rock animation is also irritating ,the show needs to keep doing courtroom drama and less political stuff.

Please get back on track...

This used to be a very entertaining show. Most characters made sense, and that's a good thing. In season 3, I don't love going through the annoying videoclips, but I endure it because it's just a few minutes. Now the Michael Sheen character... My, oh my! What the hell is that?? In what world would a lawyer with such a disturbing level of eccentricity, be allowed to be even near a courtroom, except maybe as a defendant on a charge of public annoyance. He is way too much, he is despicable and to be honest, kind of grosses me out. Nothing works. Not the voice. Not the weird non-accent. Not the clothes. Certainly not the homeless beard. And the crazy eyes make mine roll. I'm not even sure he brings anything but loud noises to the court scenes because I can't stand the sight of him. Don't fool yourselves, he's not hateful like GOT's Cersei, that I hated but couldn't stop watching. He's the kind of hateful that I just fast forward, even though I might lose a chunk of the plot. I'd say nice try but... it wasn't that nice. One thing I guarantee, if Roland Blum doesn't beat it, I will have to.

Please, don't destroy my favourite show...
Veritas9911 April 2019
I thought it cannot we worse, but , with a cartoon in every episode, and the lawyers starting to sing, and that Blum character becoming permanent....you ruined all the joy of watching. I thought TGF was the last show where would be cartoons and clowns, but I thought wrong...

This fantastic show has been ruined by the new character Blom...... and the stupid cartoons. Such a shame as it was one of the very best shows. I will not watch any longer...

Please tell me the cartoons stop
yetanotherstephanie125 February 2022
I hated Schoolhouse Rock when it was first on. The revival ruins a decent show.

Also, the Blum character is very obnoxious.

This was too short to post, but I don't think I needed to explain more.

Stupid cartoons are annoying
mpmassaro111126 October 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Since season three they have introduced these utterly stupid cartoons with some stupid songs. It is annoying, and in my opinion not in line with the style of the series. It suddenly feels like I am watching something entirely different! Why did they do this Did they hire a new director that had the assignment to end the show. By far the worst season so far. The seasons has been entertaining, except that this season they have several over the top characters. It is annoying, much less believable. And the political stuff is also getting more annoying. It seems I am not the only one when looking at the ratings. Season 4 has better ratings. So I will jump to season 4 hoping I still get the context. And otherwise they have lost a viewer.

So sad the show is ruined(
etojorik17 April 2019
The Good Wife was so brilliant. One of my favourite TV-shows of all time! The first season of The Good Fight also was good legal drama. But now the show is just pure political agitation and full of hating of Trump! Trump, Trump, Trump.... In every episode everyone is talking about Trump, politics and racism! It's incredible annoying! Diane Lockhart, my favourite character in TGW and TGF, was always strong, reasonable and smart. But now she looks like she is obsessed and has some problems with mental health(( And what's with this new character Roland Blum? That stupid farce with him should be funny or something??? And this cartoon clips... What the hell is that?? I don't understand... And Maia Rindell is also very irritating, because terrible acting and uninteresting stryline. I liked this show but now it's unwatchable, because the King's can't hold their political views...
