Heartwarming and Emotional...
11 April 2024
"Ordinary Angels" is a film that leaves a profound impact, so be prepared to reach for the tissues. It's a hard watch, no doubt, as it delves into the struggles of a family and a young girl fighting for her life. However, amidst the tears, there's a beautiful story of humanity and resilience that shines through, based on true events that restore faith in the goodness of people.

First and foremost, the acting in this film is truly exceptional. Emily Mitchell, in particular, delivers a standout performance, fully embodying her role with remarkable depth and sincerity. Her portrayal is nothing short of captivating, and she steals every scene she's in. Likewise, Alan Ritchson's portrayal adds a surprising layer of depth to the film, showcasing his versatility beyond action-packed roles, as did Hilary Swank in her role depicting struggle and compassion.

"Ordinary Angels" is a testament to the power of the human spirit, showcasing that sometimes miracles can happen in the most unexpected ways. Throughout the film, moments of heartwarming connection between the characters, particularly Emily and Alan, tug at your heartstrings and remind you of the beauty of human connection.

As a movie based on real events, it achieves its goal of portraying a touching and inspiring story. I found myself moved to tears multiple times, mainly due to the excellent acting of Emily and Alan and their heartfelt moments together on screen.

Imo Ordinary Angels is a poignant and emotionally gripping family drama with elements of suspense and exceptional acting. It's a film that will touch your heart and leave you feeling hopeful. I give it a solid 8 out of 10. While it may not be a film I'd watch repeatedly, it's a powerful and memorable experience that deserves recognition for what it is.

Snack Shack (2024)
7/10
A Passable, One-Time Watch
4 April 2024
Just finished watching "Snack Shack," and my initial reaction? Well, it's over. Not much to write home about, but let's break it down.

Starting with the positives, Connor Sherry's acting as the main character stood out. He brought a certain charm to the role that made the viewing experience somewhat enjoyable. As for the rest of the cast, they were okay-ish. A few jokes landed for some giggles, but nothing particularly memorable.

Now, onto the negatives. The age of the characters as told in the movie just didn't match up. They certainly didn't look like 14-year-olds, and neither did the girl portrayed in the film look like a teenager. This lack of believability hindered the emotional connection with the characters; I found it hard to feel empathy or sympathy for anyone. The character development was very less so it was hard for me to feel emotional for any of them. The storyline is pretty straightforward and doesn't offer anything particularly new or innovative. It follows a formula we've seen many times before.

The length of the movie was okay for me, although I think it could have been trimmed down to around 1 hour and 40 minutes. A shorter runtime might have made for a tighter, more engaging story.

So, my overall review? I'd give "Snack Shack" a 7 out of 10. It's a one-time watch that can provide decent time-pass entertainment. It's slightly above average, hence the 7 rating.

Don't get me wrong it's not a bad movie by any means it's just not a movie that you will remember for a long time.. It did a good job as a One time watch so yeah I can definitely recommend it to watch it for some decent timepass.

Average predictable Rom-Com
11 February 2024
So, I just caught "Anything but You," and let's just say it didn't exactly bring anything groundbreaking to the rom-com table. It's your quintessential, by-the-numbers romantic comedy. You've got two attractive leads who meet, like each other, have a night together, misunderstandings ensue, and then cue the grand reunion with flowers and all the classic rom-com clichés.

It's as predictable as rom-coms get. I could almost play a bingo game with the plot points. The whole "separated and reunited" storyline is a tale as old as time in this genre.

Now, about the acting, it was decent-ish. Sydney Sweeney, while bringing a certain level of charm, seemed to be reprising a character we've seen from her before. Her wardrobe seemed to be a character of its own, bodying the scenes, but I couldn't help feeling like I've seen this show before many times wherever Sydney acts.

The movie had its fair share of cringe moments, and while it passed the time on a weekend, it didn't leave much of an impression. Sydney's beauty aside, there wasn't anything new or refreshing in this film.

In the end, "Anything but You" is the kind of average weekend time-pass flick that doesn't expect much from you and vice versa. It's a familiar rom-com formula with a few laughs and a lot of predictability. If that's your cup of tea, sure, give it a go, but don't expect any groundbreaking revelations or a departure from the rom-com norm.

Underrated gem of a show from Australian shores!!
17 January 2024
Having just wrapped up "Boy Swallows Universe," I can confidently say it stands out as one of the best shows I've encountered from Australia. It's a genuine gem, providing a poignant glimpse into the struggles of young Eli in the gritty backdrop of 1980s Australia.

The standout element has to be the exceptional acting, especially from Eli considering his age. The entire cast did a commendable job, offering strong support and contributing to the overall authenticity of the narrative.

Travis Fimmel's presence was a pleasant surprise. His performance added an extra layer to the show, and as a fan, it was good to see him in this context.

What makes this show truly remarkable is its skillful blend of suspense, comedy, emotional moments, and family drama. The storyline keeps you hooked with its unpredictability, making it a gripping and satisfying watch until the very end.

The Australian essence of the 1980s was immaculately captured, down to the smallest details. It felt like a nostalgic journey through the culture and atmosphere of that era.

"Boy Swallows Universe" is a must-watch, particularly for those seeking a good family drama with a feel-good factor. It encapsulates the struggles and triumphs of its characters in a way that resonates long after the credits roll. Gus and Eli brotherhood was very good to see. They supported each other till the very end.

Personally, I'd rate it an 8-it's a must one time watch for the depth of its storytelling.

Lupin (2021– )
6/10
An Invincible Fantasy That Defies Logic
8 October 2023
Having watched "Lupin," I feel compelled to share my thoughts, and I'll start by saying this: if you're going to watch it, be prepared to switch off your brain and fully embrace it as a fantasy series.

The central premise of "Lupin" revolves around a character who operates in his own cinematic universe, where he can seemingly do anything he wants without any credible challenge or consequences. After just the first two episodes, I quickly realized that logic had been left far behind in this series. Lupin is portrayed as an invincible genius, while everyone else in the show comes across as inexplicably clueless, which can be frustrating if you're looking for any semblance of realism.

The absence of a logical foundation made it challenging for me to suspend disbelief and fully immerse myself in the story. It felt like Lupin had an answer for everything, and no obstacle or adversary could genuinely impede his progress. This predictability took away much of the tension and excitement that should accompany a heist or thriller series.

The overall acting in the series falls somewhere in the realm of average. While there are moments of decent performances, they often get overshadowed by the prevailing sense that the characters exist solely to react to Lupin's actions.

In terms of a rating, I'd give "Lupin" a 6 or perhaps a generous 6.5 out of 10. It's worth watching if you're simply looking for some time-pass entertainment and are willing to disregard logic and believability. However, if you're a fan of shows with well-thought-out storylines, good logic, and minimal loopholes, I'd advise you to skip this one.

It's also important to note that comparing "Lupin" to series like "Mission Impossible" or "John Wick" is quite a stretch. Those franchises, while also in the realm of action and adventure, are known for maintaining a certain level of internal consistency and logic that "Lupin" seems to deliberately eschew.

Sex Education (2019–2023)
8/10
Where's the conclusion? 4/10 for last season..7.5 for whole series!!
23 September 2023
**Review of "Sex Education" Season 4**

I recently finished watching the fourth season of "Sex Education," and I must admit that I'm quite disappointed with the direction the series has taken. The first three seasons were a delightful blend of humor, heartfelt storytelling, and character development, but this season left me feeling like it missed the mark.

One of the major issues I encountered was the lack of a cohesive and engaging storyline. In previous seasons, the plotlines were well-crafted and kept me eagerly anticipating what would happen next. However, in season 4, it felt like the story was all over the place, lacking a clear and satisfying narrative arc.

The introduction of new characters also left much to be desired. Unlike the well-developed characters we've come to love, the new additions felt shallow and lacked depth. It seemed like they were introduced merely for the sake of expanding the cast rather than contributing meaningfully to the story. The focus on side cast was way too much that it annoyed me...They should have just given more screen time to main cast for which we have been waiting...

Moreover, I couldn't help but notice that this season appeared to prioritize the promotion of LGBTQ+ themes at the expense of other essential storylines. While it's important to address such topics sensitively, it felt like an overload, overshadowing the other compelling aspects that made the show great.

My biggest disappointment, however, was the lack of closure for several key storylines. What about Otis, Ruby, or Maeve? It felt like their character arcs were left hanging without any resolution. Maeve's character, in particular, seemed to regress to where she started in the beginning of the season, which left me feeling unsatisfied.

In light of these issues, I can't help but give "Sex Education" Season 4 a rating of 4 out of 10. It's a disappointing and, at times, boring conclusion to a series that had so much potential. It's disheartening to witness the decline of what was once a very promising and enjoyable show.

Woah Tom Holland!! Have my respect!
21 September 2023
I recently delved into "The Crowded Room," and I have to say, it's a series that commands your attention from the get-go. Now, I'll admit that the first few episodes may come across as a tad slow, but don't be quick to judge. Those initial episodes lay the essential groundwork for the entire story surrounding Danny, and you'll soon discover their significance as the series unfolds.

Tom Holland's performance is nothing short of a revelation. It's evident that he's not confined to the superhero genre, he effortlessly flexes his acting chops in this series. His portrayal of Danny showcases a range and depth that left me thoroughly impressed. It's a testament to his talent, and he truly carries the show on his capable shoulders. Hands down his best performance by faaar!!!

But it's not just Holland who shines here. Amanda's acting is commendable, bringing authenticity and depth to her character. And speaking of authenticity, Emmy Rossum's performance might just evoke memories of her iconic Fiona character from "Shameless." It's a testament to her acting prowess that she can imbue her roles with such distinctive personalities.

Now, let's talk about the story. As I mentioned, those early slow episodes serve a purpose. As the series progresses, it evolves into an increasingly engaging and fascinating narrative. Twists and turns abound, keeping you hooked and eager to uncover what happens next. And man it gets emotional at the end. Keep your tissues ready at the end if your an emotional kinda person...

A very well Executed Film!!
3 September 2023
It is a well-executed and gripping crime thriller that left a lasting impression on me. From its compelling storyline to its masterful suspense and stellar performances by the main characters, this movie truly delivers on its promise as a top-notch thriller.

The heart of the film lies in its intricate plot, which is both engaging and intricately woven. The mysteries and secrets that unravel throughout the story keep you on the edge of your seat, eager to uncover the truth. The narrative is carefully crafted, and it's evident that the filmmakers paid meticulous attention to detail, respecting the source material.

The performances in this movie are nothing short of remarkable. Rooney Mara as Lisbeth Salander and Daniel Craig as Mikael Blomkvist bring their characters to life with depth and authenticity. Their on-screen chemistry is palpable, adding an extra layer of intrigue to the story. Mara, in particular, shines in her role, embodying the complex and enigmatic Lisbeth Salander with a captivating intensity.

What sets "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" apart is its ability to maintain a sense of unease and suspense throughout. The film doesn't shy away from the darker aspects of the story, and it doesn't hesitate to take you to some unsettling places. This unflinching approach to storytelling adds to the overall intensity and keeps you invested in the mystery until the very end.

I found the movie's atmosphere and cinematography to be highly effective. The bleak, wintry landscapes of Sweden create a haunting backdrop for the unfolding events. The attention to detail in the production design and the evocative cinematography contribute to the movie's immersive quality.

Decent TMNT Movie! Nothing new though!
3 September 2023
So, I caught the newly released Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, and I have to say, I quite enjoyed it. While it didn't break any new ground in terms of storyline, it had a fun element that kept me entertained throughout.

The plot was somewhat predictable, which is to be expected from a franchise like TMNT. We've seen the turtles in various iterations over the years, and this installment didn't deviate too far from the formula. However, what stood out to me was the connection between the human characters and the mutants. It added a layer of depth to the story and made the characters more relatable.

One of the things I appreciated about this movie was its runtime. At around 1.30 hours, it didn't overstay its welcome. It was a perfect length for a fun, action-packed adventure, and I never found myself getting bored or checking my watch.

Now, I wouldn't call this movie a masterpiece by any means, but it's definitely good for a time pass. It had its fair share of entertaining moments, and the action sequences were well-executed. The humor, which is a trademark of the TMNT franchise, was also on point and added to the overall enjoyment.

I'd give Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2023) a solid 7 out of 10. It's not a groundbreaking film, and it's not likely to become a cinematic classic, but it's a decent one-time watch that provides some fun moments. If you're a fan of the turtles or just looking for a light-hearted, action-packed movie to pass the time, it's worth giving a shot.

Boring, Dull, Disappointment!!
3 September 2023
So, I recently caught the newly released Indiana Jones movie, and if I'm being honest, it left me feeling quite underwhelmed. Personally, I found it rather dull and boring, and given its runtime of almost 2:30 hours, that's a lot of time to be uninterested. While there were a few fleeting moments of fun, the film mostly adhered to the same old Indiana Jones formula without bringing anything genuinely new to the table.

One of the biggest disappointments for me was the CGI. In this age of advanced technology, I expected better. Unfortunately, the visual effects often felt subpar and failed to create the immersive experience I was hoping for in an Indiana Jones movie. It's a shame because the franchise has a history of breathtaking practical effects, and this installment seemed to rely too heavily on CGI.

The addition of Phoebe Waller-Bridge, while talented in her own right, didn't quite fit the classic Indiana Jones concept. Her character felt out of place in the adventure and action-packed world of Indiana Jones. It's not a knock on her acting abilities but rather a question of how well her character integrated into the established narrative.

On the bright side, the acting from the rest of the cast was decent. Harrison Ford reprising his iconic role did bring a sense of nostalgia, and he handled the physicality of the role remarkably well. However, the screenplay didn't do him any favors in terms of character development or depth.

Overall, if you find yourself with absolutely nothing to do and are a die-hard Indiana Jones fan, you might want to give this movie a shot. It's got the name and some familiar elements, so it might scratch that nostalgia itch. But if you're looking for a fresh, exciting take on the Indiana Jones saga, this one might leave you feeling unsatisfied. Personally, I'd rate it around 5.5 stars - it's watchable but far from memorable.

Hijack (2023)
7/10
Started well, went downhill quickly!
7 August 2023
As someone who recently spent a solid chunk of time binging Hijack (2023), I have mixed feelings about the series. If you find yourself with around 7 hours to kill and not much else to do, it might be worth giving it a shot. The show has its strengths, but it also struggles with a few noticeable flaws that could affect your overall enjoyment.

One of the standout aspects of Hijack is the acting. Idris Elba's performance is a true highlight. His commanding presence and charisma shine throughout the series, anchoring the plot even when it starts to falter. The rest of the cast also delivers solid performances, contributing to the overall believability of the story.

I was genuinely impressed by the production quality of the show. The visuals are stunning and have a realistic touch that draws you into the world of the story. The attention to detail in the sets and locations adds an extra layer of authenticity, making the viewing experience more immersive.

However, Hijack isn't without its downsides. The story, especially after the fourth episode, takes a noticeable dip in quality. What started as a promising and engaging premise begins to feel muddled and dragged out. The pacing stumbles, and some of the plotlines feel underdeveloped or hastily resolved. This shift can make the latter part of the series a bit of a struggle to get through.

Despite its flaws, Hijack does have its moments. The character dynamics and the tension among the passengers are well-executed, keeping you invested in their fates. The initial suspense and intrigue are strong enough to carry you through some of the rougher patches in the later episodes.

I'd give it a 7 out of 10 - a rating that reflects the mixture of enjoyment and frustration I experienced while watching.

Lacks old Charisma & Horror
7 August 2023
So, I finally binged through TWD - Dead City, and I have to admit, I'm somewhat conflicted about it. As a fan of the original series, I was eagerly looking forward to this new installment, but I can't help feeling a bit let down. I'd rate it around 6 stars out of 10, and here's why.

The series seems to be lacking that old charisma and depth that drew me into The Walking Dead universe in the first place. The character development, which used to be a hallmark of the show, feels a bit rushed and shallow this time around. I didn't find myself connecting with the new characters as strongly as I did with the original group, and that was a bit disappointing. Also the zombies are not even the main aspect of the show now, its more like a drama rather than horror!

Moreover, the storyline left me wanting more. It seemed to tread familiar ground, and even though I get that the zombie apocalypse isn't exactly a realm of endless possibilities, it still felt repetitive. I was hoping for a more unique spin on the narrative that would reignite my excitement for the series, but that didn't quite happen.

Honestly, I hate to say it, but parts of Dead City felt a bit dull and boring. There were moments when I found my attention wandering, which is a shame because I used to be fully engrossed in the world of The Walking Dead. I even found it disheartening that they introduced a couple of new characters only to kill them off without giving them much time to develop. It felt like a missed opportunity.

That said, if you're a die-hard fan of The Walking Dead series, I can see how you might find redeeming qualities in Dead City. The nostalgia factor alone might keep you engaged, and if you're heavily invested in the overall universe, you could potentially overlook some of the shortcomings.

Breaking Bad (2008–2013)
9/10
Greatest Show in Television History!!!!!
30 July 2023
I heard about this show a lot by my friends and colleagues so I finally watched it, and yes it was the best decision of my life lol.. I can confidently say that it is an absolute masterpiece and a show that truly stands the test of time. From the moment I started watching, I was hooked by the gripping storyline, the phenomenal acting performances, and the impeccable execution of every aspect of the show.

Breaking Bad excels in every department. The acting performances are nothing short of extraordinary, with Bryan Cranston's portrayal of Walter White being a masterclass in character development. His transformation from a mild-mannered high school chemistry teacher to a ruthless drug lord is utterly mesmerizing. Aaron Paul's performance as Jesse Pinkman is equally brilliant, and the chemistry between Cranston and Paul on screen is simply outstanding.

The show's writing is top-notch, with each episode leaving me on the edge of my seat, eager to find out what happens next. The drama, suspense, and thrill are perfectly balanced, creating a rollercoaster of emotions throughout the series. The character arcs are well-crafted, making us deeply invested in their journeys and choices.

Breaking Bad's attention to detail and storytelling finesse are unparalleled. Every plot twist and turn feels natural and unexpected, keeping the viewer engaged and constantly surprised. The character-driven narrative ensures that even the supporting cast leaves a lasting impact, adding depth and complexity to the overall storyline.

In my thought, Breaking Bad is a timeless gem that will be remembered as one of the greatest shows in television history. Its exceptional performances, intense drama, and well-crafted storytelling make it a must-watch for all generations. It is a show that will stay with you long after you've finished watching. Personally, I wholeheartedly give it a solid 9 out of 10, reserving that one point as a tribute to its unforgettable impact on the world of television.

Well that was FUN!!!!! Top notch ACTION!!!
30 July 2023
I recently watched Mission Impossible, and I have to say it was an absolute blast! The film lived up to its reputation of delivering jaw-dropping stunts that left me on the edge of my seat throughout. Tom Cruise, as Ethan Hunt, once again proved why he is the king of action movies, delivering a top-notch performance that's nothing short of exceptional.

One of the highlights of Mission Impossible was the introduction of Hayley as a new cast member. Her presence added a fresh dynamic to the team and her performance was impressive. I was pleasantly surprised by her ability to hold her own alongside the seasoned cast, and I can't wait to see more of her in future installments.

The chemistry among the entire cast was fantastic, and each actor brought their A-game to the table. The camaraderie and banter between the characters added an extra layer of enjoyment to the film, making it not only an action-packed ride but also a fun and engaging experience.

Speaking of action, Mission Impossible delivered in spades! The stunts were mind-blowing, and it's evident that Tom Cruise's dedication to performing his own stunts pays off in every adrenaline-pumping sequence. The practical effects and well-choreographed action set-pieces truly set this franchise apart from other action films, and Mission Impossible continues to raise the bar.

The storyline was well-crafted and kept me engrossed from start to finish. The plot twists and turns kept me guessing, and the movie did a great job of balancing high-octane action with moments of suspense and intrigue. It's refreshing to see an action film with a compelling narrative that complements the spectacle.

Stellar Cast Shines in a Relevant and Gripping Drama
1 July 2023
Love and Death, the riveting TV show based on true events, captivates viewers with its stellar cast and a story that feels remarkably relevant. Led by astonishing performances, particularly from Elizabeth Olsen and Tom Pelphrey, the show weaves together elements of thrill and drama, delivering a high-quality production.

One of the standout features of Love and Death is the exceptional performances by its cast. Elizabeth Olsen delivers a powerful portrayal of the complex central character, infusing her with depth, vulnerability, and determination. Tom Pelphrey's performance also deserves praise, as he brings an intensity and nuance to his role that elevates the overall impact of the series. The ensemble cast as a whole delivers remarkable performances, showcasing their talent and commitment to their respective characters.

The show's foundation in true events adds a layer of authenticity and relevance to the narrative. Love and Death delves into a gripping story, shedding light on the complexities of human relationships and the dark underbelly of a community. The exploration of the true events behind the series creates a compelling backdrop, keeping me engaged and invested in the outcome.

The mix of thriller and drama elements in Love and Death strikes a compelling balance. This combination ensures a gripping viewing experience, where both the heart-pounding moments and the more introspective scenes work together to create a well-rounded narrative.

While Love and Death generally maintains a high standard of quality, there are instances where pacing issues arise. The middle portion of the series can feel slightly dragged, slowing down the overall momentum. Although these moments may disrupt the otherwise engaging narrative, they do not overshadow the impressive performances and the captivating story being told.

Extraction II (2023)
8/10
Breathtaking Action Steals the Show
27 June 2023
Extraction 2, the highly anticipated sequel to its predecessor, delivers an adrenaline-pumping action extravaganza that leaves me on the edge of my seats, specially the first 45 minutes of movie was like WoW. While the movie may not excel in terms of its storyline and acting, the breathtaking action sequences alone warrant a high rating and make it a must-watch for action enthusiasts.

The standout feature of Extraction 2 is undeniably its awe-inspiring action. From the opening scene to the final climactic moments, the film pulls no punches in delivering intense, pulse-pounding sequences that are nothing short of breathtaking. The meticulously choreographed fight scenes, dynamic gun battles, and jaw-dropping stunts create an immersive and electrifying experience for the audience.

The plot, though somewhat predictable, the villain was not strong enough or more like a danger than I expected. It serves as a suitable backdrop for the relentless action that unfolds, ensuring that the film maintains a sense of purpose amidst the chaos.

The performances by the cast, while not groundbreaking, are commendable. Chris Hemsworth reprises his role as the skilled mercenary Tyler Rake with the same intensity and charisma that made him a standout in the first film. The supporting cast delivers adequate performances, contributing to the overall cohesion of the movie. Although the acting may not be the movie's strongest aspect, it doesn't hinder the enjoyment of the action-packed spectacle.

In terms of production value, Extraction 2 excels. The cinematography is top-notch, capturing the gritty realism of the settings and enhancing the visceral impact of the action. The tight editing and skillful use of camera work further amplify the intensity of the fight scenes, immersing viewers in the heart-pounding action.

Overall, for action lovers it's a must watch.

My Fault (2023)
6/10
A Decent Rom-Com with Over-the-Top Action
27 June 2023
My Fault, the latest romantic comedy flick, offers a familiar and straightforward storyline accompanied by over-the-top action sequences. While the movie falls victim to a slow pace and lacks a unique twist, it still manages to provide decent entertainment for those seeking a lighthearted romantic comedy or simply looking for a fun way to pass the time.

One notable aspect that sets My Fault apart from traditional rom-coms is its inclusion of over-the-top action sequences. These unexpected bursts of excitement inject an element of thrill into an otherwise straightforward storyline.

However, one area where My Fault falls short is in its pacing. The movie struggles to maintain a consistent rhythm, occasionally feeling sluggish and dragging out certain scenes unnecessarily. The slow pacing dampen the overall enjoyment, leaving me wishing for a tighter and more dynamic progression of events.

In terms of production value, My Fault excels. The cinematography captures vibrant and visually appealing settings, enhancing the film's romantic atmosphere. The well-executed soundtrack complements the narrative, heightening emotional moments and adding to the overall appeal of the movie.

Ultimately, My Fault is a decent film that provides an entertaining escape for rom-com enthusiasts or those looking for a light-hearted and enjoyable viewing experience. While the basic storyline and occasionally slow pacing may deter some people like me, the inclusion of over-the-top action and the overall charm of the film make it a suitable choice for a time-pass movie night.

Ted Lasso (2020–2023)
9/10
A Fun and Enjoyable Watch!!
24 June 2023
One of the standout aspects of Ted Lasso is the exceptional acting across the board. Jason Sudeikis shines in the titular role, bringing a lovable charm and warmth to the character of Ted Lasso. His portrayal strikes a perfect balance between comedic timing and genuine emotional depth, making him a joy to watch on screen. The supporting cast is equally strong, with memorable performances from Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, and Brett Goldstein, among others, contributing to the show's success.

The series masterfully blends humor and heart, resulting in a refreshing and feel-good viewing experience. Ted Lasso's positive and optimistic outlook on life, coupled with his infectious enthusiasm, brings a much-needed dose of positivity to the screen. The witty and well-written dialogue adds to the show's charm, providing plenty of laugh-out-loud moments that are both clever and endearing.

However, Ted Lasso does stumble slightly in the middle, with a few episodes that feel somewhat lacking in terms of plot progression and pacing. These moments may come across as slower and less engaging compared to the rest of the series, causing a slight dip in overall enjoyment. Nevertheless, the show manages to regain its footing and delivers a strong finish that compensates for these minor lulls.

Despite these minor flaws, Ted Lasso remains a fun and uplifting watch. Its exploration of friendship, personal growth, and the power of positivity resonates deeply, leaving viewers with a sense of warmth and optimism. The series also tackles important themes such as mental health and forgiveness with sensitivity and care, adding layers of depth to its comedic exterior.

Fast X (2023)
4/10
Watched with not Expectations still Disappointed!!
24 June 2023
Fast X, the latest installment in the long-running Fast and Furious franchise, promised to deliver another high-octane, adrenaline-pumping experience. However, despite its potential, the film ultimately fell short of expectations, leaving me disappointed with its overall execution.

One of the main issues with Fast X was its lackluster and convoluted plot. The story seemed to have been sacrificed in favor of extravagant action sequences and over-the-top stunts. While the Fast and Furious series has never been known for its complex narratives, Fast X took this to a new extreme. The plot felt disjointed and predictable, with little room for character development or meaningful emotional arcs.

Another letdown was the characterization. Fast X introduced a few new faces to the franchise, but they failed to leave a lasting impression. The characters lacked depth and were overshadowed by the grandiose action set pieces. Even the returning cast members seemed to be going through the motions, delivering their lines without much conviction or enthusiasm.

Moreover, the pacing of Fast X felt uneven and rushed. The film jumped from one action scene to another without allowing for proper build-up or tension. This resulted in a lack of suspense and made it difficult to become fully invested in the events unfolding on screen. It felt as though the film was trying to cram in as much action as possible without considering the overall flow and coherence of the story.

The storylines feel disjointed and poorly executed, lacking the cohesiveness and thrill that made the earlier movies so enjoyable. Rather than presenting a cohesive narrative, Fast X seems to jump between unrelated events, resulting in a fragmented and confusing viewing experience.

One of the most disappointing aspects of Fast X is the overwhelming abundance of clichéd and cringeworthy moments. The dialogue feels contrived and forced, and the attempts at humor often fall flat. These cringe-inducing scenes overshadow the few genuinely entertaining action sequences, making the overall viewing experience tedious and frustrating.

The Fall (I) (2013–2016)
8/10
First two seasons 9 stars last season 7 stars.
21 June 2023
The Fall is a television series that aired from 2013 to 2016, captivating audiences with its intriguing storyline and compelling characters. The first two seasons of the show were exceptionally good, delivering a suspenseful and thrilling viewing experience. However, the third season, while still maintaining some of its strengths, did not live up to the high expectations set by its predecessors.

The first two seasons of The Fall were truly captivating. From the very beginning, the show established a dark and tense atmosphere, drawing viewers into its complex narrative. The psychological cat-and-mouse game between the skilled detective, Stella Gibson (portrayed brilliantly by Gillian Anderson), and the enigmatic serial killer, Paul Spector (played by Jamie Dornan), was the heart of the show. The writing was sharp, and the performances were outstanding, creating a palpable sense of suspense that kept audiences eagerly anticipating each episode.

The character development throughout the first two seasons was another strong aspect of the series. Stella Gibson was portrayed as a strong and intelligent protagonist, breaking the mold of traditional detective archetypes. Paul Spector's character was deeply disturbing yet strangely captivating, leaving viewers conflicted in their feelings towards him. The intricate exploration of their dynamic and the deep psychological aspects of the characters added layers of complexity to the storytelling.

However, it is in the third season where the show slightly falters. While it still retains some of its strengths, it fails to maintain the same level of intrigue and suspense. The pacing feels somewhat uneven, and the plot becomes slightly convoluted, losing some of the sharpness and clarity that defined the earlier seasons. Additionally, certain storylines and character arcs may not have been as satisfyingly resolved as anticipated, leaving some viewers disappointed.

Nonetheless, despite the slight decline in quality in its final season, The Fall remains a compelling series that is worth watching, especially for fans of psychological thrillers and character-driven narratives. The performances, particularly by Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan, are outstanding throughout the series, anchoring the show with their magnetic presence.

A Timeless Masterpiece: The Dark Knight Review
5 June 2023
Warning: Spoilers
From the moment the opening scene enveloped the screen, The Dark Knight seized my attention, refusing to relinquish its grip until the very last frame. Christopher Nolan's monumental film is a true masterpiece, a triumph of storytelling, and a testament to the power of cinema. With its breathtaking action, complex characters, and thought-provoking themes, The Dark Knight stands as one of the greatest superhero films ever made.

The film's gritty and realistic portrayal of Gotham City immediately immerses the audience in a world plagued by chaos and corruption. Nolan's direction shines brilliantly, capturing the essence of the city and its inhabitants. The cinematography, coupled with a hauntingly atmospheric score, builds an unrelenting tension that grips viewers, leaving them on the edge of their seats.

At the heart of The Dark Knight lies a mesmerizing performance by the late Heath Ledger as the iconic Joker. Ledger's portrayal is nothing short of extraordinary. He brings a chillingly anarchic energy to the character, infusing him with a terrifying unpredictability that transcends the screen. The Joker's motives remain enigmatic, and his presence engulfs every scene he graces. Ledger's portrayal earned him a posthumous Academy Award, and his legacy will forever be etched in cinematic history.

Christian Bale delivers a commanding performance as Batman/Bruce Wayne. He effortlessly embodies the dual nature of the character, juxtaposing Batman's brooding intensity with Wayne's internal struggle. Bale's portrayal captures the internal conflicts faced by a hero determined to protect Gotham at any cost. His dedication to the role is palpable, elevating the film to another level.

The supporting cast is equally remarkable. Gary Oldman shines as Commissioner James Gordon, presenting a steadfast and morally upright figure amidst the chaos. Michael Caine's portrayal of Alfred Pennyworth adds depth and emotional gravitas to the narrative. Aaron Eckhart delivers a nuanced performance as Harvey Dent, the incorruptible district attorney whose descent into darkness echoes the film's central themes of morality and the human capacity for evil.

Nolan's screenplay explores profound philosophical questions, delving into the blurred lines between good and evil. The Dark Knight raises dilemmas that challenge the viewer's own moral compass. It forces us to confront the fragility of our own principles and the choices we make when faced with the darkest of circumstances.

The action sequences in The Dark Knight are meticulously crafted, with each set piece ratcheting up the tension and excitement. Nolan's commitment to practical effects and stunts adds a visceral quality to the film, intensifying the impact of each punch, explosion, and car chase. The film's climactic confrontation between Batman and the Joker is a tour de force, a battle of ideologies that leaves a lasting impression.

While The Dark Knight is undeniably a superhero film, it transcends the genre by exploring universal themes that resonate with audiences on a deeper level. It is a stark reminder of the fragility of order and the inherent chaos that lies within society. It forces us to confront the complexities of human nature and the choices we make in the face of adversity.

Must watch if you're spiderman fan of any kind!
5 June 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This was masterpiece of film really enjoyable and entertaining with elements of twists and turns!!

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse has swung its way into theaters, and it is nothing short of a visual marvel. With its stunning animation, gripping storyline, and memorable characters, this film takes the superhero genre to new heights. As a lifelong Spider-Man fan, I found myself completely immersed in this exhilarating cinematic experience.

From the moment the film begins, the audience is greeted with a unique animation style that blends traditional hand-drawn techniques with cutting-edge CGI. The result is a breathtaking visual feast that feels like a living comic book come to life. The vibrant colors, dynamic action sequences, and attention to detail make every frame a work of art. The animation effortlessly captures the essence of Spider-Man's kinetic energy, and it never ceases to amaze.

One of the standout aspects of this film is its captivating storyline. The narrative follows Miles Morales, a teenager who becomes the new Spider-Man in his dimension, and his journey of self-discovery. The script masterfully weaves together elements of humor, heart, and heroism, creating a perfect balance that keeps the audience engaged from start to finish. It explores themes of identity, responsibility, and the importance of embracing one's uniqueness, resonating with viewers of all ages.

What truly sets Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse apart is the introduction of the Spider-Verse itself. This concept brings together multiple iterations of Spider-Man from different dimensions, each with their own unique personalities and powers. The interactions between these diverse characters are a true joy to watch, providing moments of genuine humor and heartfelt camaraderie. The film does an excellent job of showcasing each Spider-Person's individual story while still maintaining a cohesive narrative that never feels overwhelming.

The voice acting in this film is exceptional. Shameik Moore's portrayal of Miles Morales captures the character's youthful enthusiasm and vulnerability perfectly, making him instantly relatable. The supporting cast, including Jake Johnson as Peter B. Parker and Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacy, delivers memorable performances that bring their respective characters to life. The chemistry between the voice actors is palpable, enhancing the authenticity of their relationships and adding depth to the overall storytelling.

Furthermore, the film's soundtrack is a standout component. The carefully curated blend of hip-hop, pop, and alternative music perfectly complements the film's energetic pace and youthful spirit. The songs not only enhance the on-screen action but also contribute to the emotional beats, amplifying the impact of pivotal moments.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse not only pays homage to the beloved character's legacy but also pushes the boundaries of what a superhero film can be. It embraces the inclusive nature of the Spider-Man mythology, showcasing a diverse range of characters that young audiences can look up to. The film's message of perseverance, embracing individuality, and the importance of friendship is both empowering and inspiring.

If there is one minor flaw in this otherwise outstanding film, it is that the fast-paced narrative occasionally leaves little room for some characters to fully develop. However, this is a minor quibble considering the film's overall strengths.
