Holy Hell!
10 September 2022
If your mouth wasn't open for 20 minutes straight, while you are trying to process what happened 5 minutes before the current scene, you weren't paying attention. No one has given me more fun since Bernard Black started his story trying to do his taxes.

The randomness of all of this has taken the monty python to another level. If you feed a successful ai all of the british comedy tradions of absurdity and the great martial arts movies of the far east together. You will get a bad version of this movie because it won't be directed and written by these brilliant directors and scriptors. Thank you, you have brought 2 hours of straight excitement, fun and energy to my life.

This truly everything everywhere all at once.

The X-Files: Trevor (1999)

Monster of the week creates good drama
8 October 2020
This is what happens when X-Files in its best. Arguably a dumb power given to a realistic character gives us a super villain in a world of normal people. The threat itself, the way they deal with the threat and everything and the reactions of some of the characters tells me this was a really well written episode.

Sadly the episode could have used more visual effects but probably due to budget constraints they couldn't use the threat in a more visual way, instead they dealt with through well designed props. If they could employ more visual tactics they could potentially give us a true feeling of helplessness like the Invisible Man movie.

Teleporting monsters are not the most ridiculous thing.
14 December 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I gave godzilla the monster 10 points and summed it up with the script and dialogues of this movie to reach an overall 6 points. The people who love this frenchise doesn't deserve this much cheesy dialogue and script. Godzilla damn you, godzilla damn you all.

Cut all the eco terrorist scenes alltogether make the ghidorah just decide to wake up with no human agency(Which I know you tried to include because of the lack of it in the first movie) and you got somehow a better movie. This would somehow be a better movie.

Also next time use hollow earth and stuff to validate the game of thrones levels of fast travel for the moments. Couldn't you just give us another ridiculous dialogue about they can teleport whenever they want? Cause I know there is no wide enough hollow earth that russian mamooth can fit his fat behind. That dialogue wouldn't be the worst one you put on script.

About time for a good sequal to something.
4 September 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I mean obviously this movie is at best a pop corn movie and probably doesn't deserve an 8. It didn't deserve anything less than 7 either but that one liner: ''You are screwed'' had me blowing. Thank you to the movie team. Haven't watched a good one liner lately. The movie itself is good enough, entertaining, easy to watch. I really liked the head actress and everyone else involved. Really thank you people.

Saturday Night Live: Sam Rockwell/Halsey (2018)

You just put some gold to trash.
21 January 2018
They had one of the finest actors in our generation and didn't use him in any good way. I don't understand SNL. Sometimes they get very good actors and god the weakest sketches in that episode. Just like Christopher Waltz they didn't use Sam Rockwell in any good scetches and he wasn't in most of the sketches anyway. This was Bryan Cranston in Godzilla all over again.

The Babysitter (I) (2017)
2/10
This was a documentary of cringe.
24 November 2017
Warning: Spoilers
First of all the fact that this movie has more than 6 points in IMDb is astonishing for me. I actually feel like I'm left out of a joke or something. I actually checked the user profiles of the voters and surprised that it wasn't 20.000 under 18 year old kids with crushes for Samara Weaving.

OK if I can say something about this, I have to say that this movie contains some of the cringiest scenes in any movie ever. Every villain in the story tries to act like a role model and a freaking knife murderer at the same time. Every one of the teenager murderers were created as a impossibly far fetched parody of millennials. Every one of them are written as shallow and as self centered as possible to resemble youth of our day but I would expect the writer of this sh.tty movie to chase children with a cane, yelling 'Darn kids, get off my lawn'. Seriously were the scenes, characters reacting to their own lethal wounds with only concern for their future careers and boobs were supposed to be funny. Zero acting, zero logic to the way the events unfold, zero surprises. In all the movie I actually liked only the scene where the kid tries to save his friend by locking a door on her. The rest was a sh.tshow for me.

It isn't bad but it has the potential for it.
22 October 2017
The movie contains a set of situations that would be expected in a Coen brothers movie with a heavy dose of political awareness about the situations women face daily in Turkey. Unfortunately the political features of the piece outweighs the scenario of the movie too much and steers it into a set of unrealistic and unconnected different events and ruin the continuity of the movie for me.

As a leftist/feminist I can't really recommend the movie wholeheartedly as even I couldn't like it that much even though the movie was really catered to a demographic including me.

Saturday Night Live: Emily Blunt/Bruno Mars (2016)
Season 42, Episode 3
8/10
Unexpected Blast
18 October 2016
Don't know why the reviews for this episode is god-awful. From start to finish almost every sketch, save for the boring Melanie Drumpf music video, worked great for me. Especially the Ann Arbor festival sketch killed me. I had no positive view of Emily Blunt before and a neutral expectation for the SNL this season but this episode is definitely contains some sure to be classic sketches. The biggest reason why I catch up to this episode was of course Bruno Mars, and that charming b.stard definitely met every one of my expectations. And although probably everyone is started to get sick of the Drumpf jokes taking half of the air-time (I started to want him to be defeated just for the removal of the jokes) Melanie in Drumpf tower series of this season still gives everybody a quick laugh. I definitely suggest this episode to be watched by everyone who is interested in the sketch style comedy of SNL.

Everyone in the audience could have direct this movie better
6 July 2013
This will be one of the most unfair reviews for this movie because I am writing this down not past 25 minutes in to the movie.

I have never played the games, but as a gamer I was aware of their success and their influence on the whole genre of horror games. When I watched the first movie it was like a dream come true for me. A movie thats based on a computer game that was easily a very good movie on his own.

But this bears every cliché that has ever been uttered for the films that based on games. I can't really understand why someone would use wobbly screen effects when so much technological effects are in his disposal.

Seriously you will face some of the worst effects and scenes that are typical for direct to DVD movies during the 90s. Any director with half a brain or some experience would avoid so many of the failures this movie displays that one has to wonder what was the disaster behind the scenes that resulted in this piece of sh.t.

For anyone who wants to understand how horrible and stupid this movie is please watch the mirror scene of Sean Bean and Radha Mitchell.

Christopher Walken is brilliant
3 February 2013
I watched this movie last week and I am still returning to re watch because it contains some of the most fascinating scenes I have ever watched.

I think the casting was very good. Sam Rockwell, who had already pulled off a slowly degrading and paranoid character living in moon alone, really succeeds in bearing the weight of the story. He is essentially causes almost all the progress single handedly and the parts really fit together.

Colin Farrell, who is a favorite of the director is another good flavor but I didn't really get impressed with his acting or his character. Because his character has almost no impact, he is dragged along to different situations and usually has no bearing in the movie. Maybe it supposed to represent the director in some level but it is very interesting to see the story teller who doesn't even realize how little control he has on his own story.

But I am mainly reviewing this title to praise Christopher Walken. Every one of is scenes are perfect, he is just brilliant. I have always liked him but I could never imagine that I would be impressed this much with his acting. I think the character is very interesting, his dialogs really fit the atmosphere and in general it was a very essential part of a good story.

Life's Too Short (2011–2013)

Good comedy
15 April 2012
First of all I never watched Extras and I always have a hard time watching comedy based on deliberatively awful characters. (Though I loved It's Always Sunny in Philedelphia) So this show wasn't really my thing and couldn't even fully watched the last 2 episodes and skipped a couple of scenes. But on the other hand it was an original show and really funny in some of its moments. I guess I didn't like the somewhat downfall of Warwick Davis throughout the show and at the end of it the show started to get a little depressing for me. Still I recommend it, because you can't really anticipate what will happen next and most of the acts will just hit you in the face.
