I must say I am really surprised that Pandemic has 4.9 rating (at this moment)! When I watched it last month it had something between 5 and 5.3, which is still not that good, but 4.9 rating will reject many viewers and that is bad because this is a really good movie about apocalypse! I love movies about apocalypse and post-apocalypse, and if you are a fan too then you should definitely watch this one! I don't like camera, but everything else is really good and the story is cool - movie is truly watchable. Yeah, this is nothing new, there are many similar movies, but this one can still be fun to watch.

First of all, you need to understand that this movie is a comedy and even a parody in some parts. So you can't take it 100% seriously. Knowing that, you can certainly enjoy it because it is very funny. There is not a single part for which I can say is bad. You can only say that the story is not original, but since it is a zombie adventure... what can you expect? I love movies about apocalypse and that is the reason why I wanted to watch this one - I don't regret it at all.

I love movies about apocalypse and post-apocalypse and that is why I wanted to watch this one, too. It is a bad movie, but it is so bad that is actually watchable! Yup, I enjoyed it at the end. It is funny, though it was not suppose to be, and you can say that some action scenes are solid, too, as well as vehicles and costumes. Acting is fine for some characters, but nothing special. It is a Mad Max wannabe, and now while I am browsing IMDb I can see that director Cirio H. Santiago made several more Mad Max wannabes! Wow, he was really persistent! He made Wheels Of Fire two years after Stryker, and I think that it is a best bad Mad Max wannabe of all, but you can read about it more in my other review.

So, about Stryker, you may enjoy it if you like apocalypse and post- apocalypse. Or if you want to watch something bad with friends so you can laugh - then, Stryker is the movie for you. You need to look at it that way so that you can watch it to the end, like I did. I can say I enjoyed watching it, it was so bad and unintentionally funny that I liked it.

I don't know why this film has such a low rating ( 4.6 at the this moment ) when it is actually really cool. Good story, acting, costumes, environment design, good presentation of post-apocalyptic world. I love movies about apocalypse and post-apocalypse and that's why I wanted to see this one at first place. I don't regret it at all! I enjoyed it and you probably will to if you like these kind of movies. Maybe the story is slow and becomes boring in few places, but that is not a reason to have 4.6 rating.

If you like apocalypse / post-apocalypse and you are aware that this is a teenage movie, I don't know why you wouldn't like it! It is really cool, story is good, they made an effort to create post-apocalyptic world and everything else works fine. Kids are not acting well, that I must admit, but they are kids... and pretty much all other 80s teenage movies have the same problem, but that does not mean Solarbabies should have 4.8 ( as in this moment ). It is a solid movie, and if you like apocalypse I am sure that you will like this one, too.

At first I thought that this is ''yet another Mad Max wannabe'', but this is THE BEST Mad Max wannabe! The main character looks the same as Max, they all drive similar vehicles, live in dessert... almost everything is the same, but still, it was great to me! I love post- apocalyptic movies, and if you like them too, make sure to watch this one! Don't expect something spectacular, this still is a rip-off, but the best one of all, at least for me.

This is not something I would recommend to everyone, but if you like apocalypse and post-apocalyptic movies then you may enjoy this one too. Not great, bot not that bad either - solid movie. It is boring in some parts, but still watchable, but I repeat, only if you really like apocalypse. I watched German dub version and that was great because of Future-Nazi soldiers that are in movie, I wonder how it sounds in English...

I must admit I expected more, the casting is cool, as well as the story taken from the original, but... something went wrong. Zombies are bad, really, really BAD. Now imagine MJ singing this in his Thriller zombie costume! That is probably the only thing I don't like. When you watch a remake, you already know what will happen, and you expect to see that old story again in some new form, like other 'modern' films... this one had a potential for that, but failed. Zombies shouldn't be so fast, and camera in those parts is bad, too. I blame producers for this, instead of giving money to Ving Rhames and Mena Suvari, they should have gave it to someone who knows how to create and shoot zombie-fight scenes. Then the movie would be cool even without known actors.

I watched it only because I like movies about apocalypse, and if you imagine it like that - it is watchable! I was able to watch it to the end. All craziness caused by zombie outbreak is 'realisic', so I can't regret watching this.

As I said in title, if only zombies were better, the movie would be great. Not awesome, but... I know, the budget is low, but they could have imagined some other kind of apocalypse, not zombie one. Other things in the movie are OK, though I don't understand some extremely close shots... So camera is good and bad, too.

Watch it if you like movies about apocalypse, story is cool and watchable.

I didn't expect much of this movie, and at the end I realized it is just as I expected - watchable low-budget movie about apocalypse. I like movies about apocalypse and post-apocalypse, so that is the main reason why I watched it. If it was other genre, I would probably quit, but I managed to stay awake till the end.

This is not a great film, it is slow and boring sometimes, but if you like post-apocalyptic movies you might enjoy it. Story is OK, nothing special, but yet different than other similar movies. Acting is fine, too.

Yes, they tried to make another Mad Max and yes, they failed. But, the movie is still watchable and good in some parts. Vehicles are SO BAD that they actually look like the apocalypse happened! Nothing can be perfect when you have nothing! So I find this great! :) Acting is OK, Fred is great choice. Fighting scenes are bad, but if we look at the budget...

Don't expect much and you will watch it to the end, especially if you like post-apocalyptic movies as I do.

I really enjoyed watching this film and I don't understand why it has such low rating. I love post-apocalyptic films, and this one is really good.

It is not perfect, there are some bad things, but not THAT bad. Story is nothing special, chase & run. Post-apocalyptic world is not really shown, only desert. No buildings, infrastructure and transport. Low budget, I understand, but that is not the excuse. Aliens are designed really bad and this is the only thing I didn't like in the film. Like a child drawing adapted for screen. Disappointing.

However, it is watchable and I wanted to know what next will happen. Acting is good, their conversation, photography, sound design. The story is told many times, but still, it makes you wanna see it till the end.

Watch it if you like post-apocalyptic films.

Before watching Battlefield Earth, this movie had the worst IMDb rating in my list of films I liked. It is also the only Asylum film I liked and the only Asylum film I watched till the end.

The story like many other similar, nothing new, nothing innovative, but I enjoyed it. Not so good acting and CGI, but it is OK. I like post-apocalyptic films and that is why I gave a chance to Meteor Apocalypse and I can say I wasn't wrong. If you also like post- apocalyptic theme, this is a nice film to watch. Not the best, but solid one.

It certainly deserves higher rating than 3.0 which it has at the moment of my writing.

I heard and read a lot about this movie, usually bad things. I don't know why it has such a bad rating, when it's not really that bad at all. It is not good, it is bad, bud not THAT bad. I enjoyed watching it. I love post-apocalyptic movies and I have had a doubt if I should watch it or not, but now when I finished watching it I can say that I am satisfied.

Acting is bad, but not by everybody. I can't believe this is the same Travolta as in Pulp Fiction or From Paris With Love. He produced this movie and did't even try acting! That is really not understandable to me. Camera angles, too much slow motion, weird sound design... These things are really bad. But...

The story is good! Costumes are funny, but original. Scenic Design is great, I love the way they created post-apocalyptic Earth. I can not tell if the CGI is good or bad, but on DVD it was good. Maybe it is not the same on BluRay or TV... I don't know that. It is not top quality, but it was made in 2000 or even 1999. We can't compare it to today's CGI. Sure, some other films from the same year had way too much better animation, but that is not something to judge the whole movie.

I read somewhere that Travolta wanted to make a sequel, but the negative critics made him to change his mind. Well, John, if you are reading this, maybe now is a good time to do it! Or maybe remake, the story is really good! Think about it...

Overall, this is not a bad film, it is not a great one neither, but something in between, I would say. Watch it if you like post- apocalyptic theme. It does not deserve 2.4 rating and Bottom 100 #89 . It should be two times bigger.

This is also my first review on IMDb and I am doing it because this is one of the best low-budget sci-fi films I've seen.

At the time I am writing this, the movie has a 4.6 rating, but I think it deserves a higher one. I would give it a 6, and I think it deserves something between 5.5 - 6.

The plot is original, it is not ''yet another'' movie about this theme, and acting is OK, I think only this guy with camera does not know how to act ( he interviews soldiers ). VFX is solid, and if we consider the budget of the movie - it is great! I enjoyed watching it.
