Totally illogical, stupid stupid story line , full of plot holes ruins potentially interesting triller with nice filming locations and nkt so awful acting as the scenario is stupid an not realistic.

Main character is bullet proof , punch proof, fights look like 60's western moview saloon fights. So disappointing ... Acting is so so, with few interesting characters in side roles but main character is totally artifical and pathetic. Main negative characters are also quite incoherent and with low IQ. What else to say ... It's a waste of time , and if you want have time to waste you can always have fun in finding plot holes, it has so many like a Swiss cheese .

Acting is great, photography and ambient is nice, but the story becomes just ridiculously and absurdly stupid somewhere around the middle of the film.

Not just that the main character behaves as a total idiot ( I won't say more, as I don't want this review to have a spoiler but you'll get it) but also all the other characters behave like brainless crowd.

Bumped into this documentary by chance, just changing channels on my TV one night. First scene i saw has nailed my attention to it. I couldn't believe what i saw. I've seen docs about garbage cities in India and people who live there, as shocking as this one but the fact that technological garbage from the whole world comes to a place in Africa caught me unprepared. So, it is not easy to watch this but at the same time it is filmed and narrated so well, it actually "takes you there" and instantly I felt the intimacy with the protagonists as they talk about their dreams and wishes, so humble and nice people looking for a better life , but living in that hell...yet it is in the heart of the most beautiful nature of Africa. The way the camera works is perfect. This movie is such a gem in so many ways, and I really hope, some of the protagonists will have at least some benefit from it too.

First few episodes are surprisingly promising. And then gradually it becomes unwatchable, insultingly stupid. Maybe one if the worst tv experiences , that bad that I just had to stop watching after 3 or 4 episodes. I skipped through the rest of first season ( stupid end as expected ) and watched the last 2 mins of the last episode of the second season just to see how stupid THE end would be. I can't believe this crap has 85 metacritic score. CRAP ALERT!

It begins as a promising story but soon everything becomes just nonsense and violence and it goes worse and worse and worse till the very end, keeping you interested just to see what's the point if all the violence and killing . But there's no point. The end.

I can't believe they put so much energy and money into filming spectacular scenes, and good actors, but they can't make one decent logical scenario. So just leave your brains at home and have some fun. Action, pace, production,... is so good that even the obvious nonsenses in the script can't spoil the general impression (to me) to give it less than 6 stars. But I'm not sure I'd like to watch it again.

I really don't understand people that rate this below 5 stars. I would give it 20 stars if I could. This movie should be shown in every high school cause it teaches kids about respect love and moral.

I didn't know that this was a remake of the french original. so it didn't bother me, it was the original show to me, and it was really interesting. I'm just sorry that it ends suddenly after 10 episodes and they've canceled the season 2 so we'll never know what happened.

such a pity

I can't believe they'll just leave it like this. if they followed the same plot as the french one maybe I would have tried to switch to the original in french, but as they differ I can't and I don't want to watch the french version with different characters etc now that I have watched 10 episodes of this show...

I gave this movie only one star , though it's worth more, but since so many reviewers rated it 10 or 9 stars i had to give less. It is probably one of the most overrated movies on IMDb.

I hoped it would be exciting experience, a friend recommended it, and also IMDb rating was great so I hoped for a great movie-evening.I loved the idea of the movie, I had some experience myself with lucid dreaming etc. so I was kind of excited about it.. but what a disappointment.

It's just soooo boring from the beginning. I watched it to the end hoping something will change my mind, but further it went more boring it became.

In this dream world movie there's almost no fantasy at all. Boring shooting, fighting scenes and car races most of the time. And then some boring conversations with no sense at all.

My advice- don't waste your time even to see why some people gave it 9 or 10 stars. Just avoid, sincerely...
