Although never was a big fan of marilyn monroe, if i was i would say this movie is the most horrible, ill advised, completely unnecessary, wayy to too extreme to the point of complete garbage. Yes, marilyn was completely oversexed, but to the lengths they displayed is disgusting and obviously because of some sick directors disturbing fantasy. Just because you have some over sexed symbol doen;t mean you have to be so gross about it and honestly its movies like these that give cinema a bad name. It's like the director just wanted an excuse to put in the most disturbing things possible. It's a waste of money, time, and pretty much most ridiculous movie. Maybe instead they should have focused on her as a person and the stuff that didn't just include her taking off clothes and basically being a boy toy. She was still a person that I'm sure had a lot more to tell then they what they showed- just saying.

So for those critics who may diss it- is it a little predictable? Maybe, but 1. Is actually pretty funny, unique and alot better turn is given credit for. The main guy is genuinely funny, has some sweet moves with a scooter surprisingly, villain is believe able and also kindav funny and 2. Movie although a little repetitive at end has refreshingly good ending. It's funny, original, light and perfect if want a laugh.

Have to say love how it shows the importance of Christmas traditions, helping others, and doing what is needed to help children in other countries even against all odds and especially if against some idiotic overarching government that has no clue what it's doing. We don't live in fear especially if it means not living our life to fullest as intended to be...

So for all those trashing the movie- honestly I thought Kevin James did a good job in a movie that was fun, inspiring, lighthearted, and with even some good fighting thrown in. Is it a little predictable? Possibly. But does it have heart with good characters and worth watching? Definitely. Sure Kevin James may not seem like your typical fighter but that's the point of movie. And I think the authenticity of some real wrestlers in movie including the actually funny nico makes it even better. The other characters are also relatable and scenes between characters feel real and authentic. So for those bashing it cause maybe it's not gritty, crude, rude or adult or Oscar rule movie- well honestly Oscar's are overrated and I'd rather watch a Kevin James fun movie any day.

Not nearly as good as the original lucy- its wayy to dark, dramatic and generally nothing like the original tv show. The actress cant even compare and honestly was trying to hard. The original show was funny, original and refreshingly crudity free. Instead here we jave another r rated stuff thrown in just for sake of modernness. Ill stick to the original any day.

Personally I found this to be a really cute snd sweet movie with awesome dancing, good soundtrack, and sweet ending. Was the main guy a little wooden- maybe, but grouchy he also had some great dance skills and I thought the main scenes with him and the main girl were touching. We're there a few things that maybe didn't make sense? Possibly. But was it good for a light hearted free of crudity and excess content. Definitely. And I thought the main girl did really good. I lived the High-school reunion scene and especially the middle dance scene- I also though Ed asner and the other older guy were really funny. Those who gave it such a low score didn't even give it a chance. And for those who might grumble about the faith comments I thought it was very well done ie not cringy at all unlike some other movies...

The fact that anyone can possible like this movie or consider it "empowering" are completely delusional. Not only is it wayy too graphic in its violence and content with women, but it's like it reveals in it. I mean seriously??? We don't need to see horrible sadistic abuse towards females to know it happens. And this is not empowering to them at all. It is instead degrading and downright horrible. Don't see it.

Have to say wasn't too impressed...Don't want to give away any spoilers, but let's just say the main guy basically is a dbag, the choices the main characters decide make no sense, and other then the scenery there is really nothing worthwhile. The father is wayy too forceful and honestly only maybe one character is like able. The ending sucks and honestly wayy to depressing for its intended target. And one of the characters is just obnoxious. And the main guy- total idiot and not deserving of anything good...Save yourself the time and watch something better...

So thought this was a cute movie with a good plot, good characters, and sweet ending. Is it oscar worthy? Probably not. Is it your typical chick flick- yes. But its fun, lighthearted, a good escape- definitely yes. Sure these people aren't seasoned actors, but I thought the main girl did a good job and the main guy wasn't too bad. It had a good message about helping others, letting what is inside count, and not getting caught up with looks etc. Yes there are some christian type messages but not in a obnoxious way. Overall not too bad.

Personally i thought this was overrated. The only good thing was hugh jackmans acting and dancing/singing (and the love and devotion he showed to his family.) The melodies although were ridiculously lyrical and honestly all thr rest of the charecters were obviously just shoehorned for some obviously directors agenda. Michelle williams cant act and zendaya is just wayy overated as well. Zac efron although usually good was just not believeable and the resr of the charecters just meh. And zendaya just really really irratated me. Maybe skip this one and warch les mis instead.

Horrible movie that honestly is way overrated. Plus the sex science- way unnecessary. And the fact that I heard rumors it wasn't acting at all and that Sutherland was actually doing it just repulses me even more. It's bad enough they have to add gratuitous sex scenes, but then to find out you're actually watching strangers doing it/ wrong and totally unnecessary...

Well that's bbc for you...Every time they like to mess up a perfectly good Classic/original. Fill it w/ crap, totally change the originals essence for some cracked up crap. The main girl is annoying, selfish, rude, and totally unlikeable- not at all an improvement but rather a disagreement and downright irritating...The plot is drastically changed, makes no sense, way to creepy and honestly not worth your time. Stick to the earlier one and will enjoy much better...

Although it was kindav cute at first, have to say didn't really like the ending. The main girl honestly is a little psycho and the fact that she still stayed w/ the guy even though he was a little unhinged honestly not the greatest...

Wow- just wow. Let's just this is a horrible, messed up way too violent movie with no like-able characters and outrageous plot. The wife is deranged, the husband is a cheating loser, and his mistress is way too revealing. I feel sorry for the kids and that's about it. A senseless movie with senseless violence that leave little to imagination. Not worth time...

I totally agree w/ those complaining about the shoes sec scenes and implicit nudity. One- just cause it's "consensual" and barely of age doesn't mean it's responsible to yes show barely of age (yes the actors may be older but the characters are still supposed to be thought of as teens) having bare all sex- why for once can't we have a relationship that isn't just sex. Believe it or not not every couple has sex in early stages etc...And honestly- there's no responsible parents or any sort of maturity. Instead we just got a couple of horny teenagers who can't decide if they want to be together or not. Am so tired of sex crazed passing off as "adults." It's like seriously? Try talking about actual issues and grownups/kids not obsessed w/ sex for once- just saying...

Although appreciate bringing light on the subject of sex trafficking and the horrors that happen to when (and children) when drugged and raped and then sold online for other sick peoples pleasure don't know if the violence itself does the opposite effect. The gratuitous scenes although done to show the horrors maybe (one of them- not all of them) doesn't mean need to necessarily go all out. It's sickening what happens in the sex industry but don't have to necessarily see it to know how sickening it is- is an important subject, just not sure if movie went about right way..

This is a horrible movie about people who are selfish, only thinking of themselves and yet somehow turn out just fine but instead innocent people are used and then just disregarded as disposable Kleenex. A women has an affair, lies about it, and then still gets away with it with no guilt whatsoever??? Although Jakes character isn't entirely innocent she totally ruins him and others as well. Why do people like this crap???

This movie is sorely about selfish, low life, drugged up, cruel, nihilistic, sex obsessed, horrible scumbags. The fact that the main dude/criminal barely paid for his crimes is even more annoying and the movie honestly acts like a how to on really bad behavior. Plus the characters show no remorse of all the damage they did to their victims. All it is is an excuse to show horrible humans doing horrible degrading crap and saying insane use of f words. Its disgusting, degrading, and downright nauseating. And completely hypocritical that the main sexed up so called "actress" just there for sex scenes is now in a film about sexual misconduct- talk about irony...It's a horrible horrible movie that definitely wasn't worthy of any awards...A complete disgrace.

Honestly, this is just another crass not funny remake with wayy too much crude sexual humor and horrible performances. Is just an excuse to make sex joke after sex joke which is very disappointing...Especially when their are kids involved. They should have left it at the original. There's a reason this was nominated for the golden raspberry awards...👎👎

Although there is some good stylizing- I think the critics in saying its wayy too violent were completely right (and I don't usually agree with critics-it's very rare when I do.) The elevator scene was totally unnecessary as well as some others. For a movie titled drive it doesn't have much driving in it- all in all if they just toned down the violence where it wasn't so over the top would have been a lot better. Amazing for all this talk about anti guns no one objects to a movie where someone's head gets smashed in...

Personally despite all the critics naysays I thought this was a pretty good movie...The ending made me tear up and I thought all the actors died a good job playing their character..The relationship between sally fields and her daughter were especially heartwarming plus some good one liners. I know some people thought the end was too schmaltz but personally loved how they highlighted a women's life for her child and no matter what she wanted to give birth to a baby even when dr etc were saying she shouldn't. I think especially nowadays that would be so refreshing to see when the world instead seems to act like being pregnant is an imposition at times and all the crazy feminist keep saying there is so much more to life. Although have nothing against people who don't have children or doesn't necessarily want them I also think being a mother is one of the most rewarding things that can happen...

Horrible movie that only serves as an excuse to film awkward and scenes and awkward characters who have some major issues and who are not at all like able...The main female is messed up and then proceeds to try to mess up a happily married women. It should have been billed as a horror movie instead...

Personally I thought this movie was amazing and thought the critics did not do enough justice. Was it a little bit not possible? Yes. But was it totally watchable, funny, and like-able? Yes..The chemistry was good and the actors I thought all did a good job. The critics naysaying it were just being artsy fartsy and way too negative. Personally I liked this one a lot better then the original...

So overall I thought it was pretty good- there were a few spots I could have done without (unnecessary bondage, reference to porn etc), but thought the overall the characters did pretty good, were like able (or purposefully unlikeable), good chemistry between too main characters, and good scenery. Other then the bondage, it wasn't too objectionable although I really wanted to smack the brother (although pretty sure that was the point.) Not bad for light hearted, (mostly) feel good movie.
