Anomalisa (2015)
Kaufman you have Done it Again!
Anomalisa is a beautifully executed piece of art. From the great Charlie Kaufman brings us a fantastic story, with pronominal characters, and exceptional animation. I honestly can't do this movie justice. All I can really say much more other then see this film as soon as you can!

Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015)
Not a a Film to Inspire Generations, but still Really Good
The Force Awakens is without the shred of a doubt a well made entertaining blockbuster. We can go on and on about how its to much like A New Hope (which it was) but in my opinion at least it brought us enough new stuff to chew on for most of that to be excused. In conclusion The Force Awakens is refreshingly entertaining, well developed film that I for one loved.
7 Lightsabers/10 Darth Vader Masks.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014)
The fact that this movie came out the way it did is ratter astounding
Now let me get this out of the way now, I like Spider-Man. I have enjoyed every Spider-Man film up until this one, and yes that does include The Amazing Spider-Man 1. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is a poorly acted, convenience driven, incoherent mess of a film. Nothing in the plot makes any sense whatsoever, and let me get this out of the way now the soundtrack may be the worst one in decades.
3/10 Garbage
The Amazing Spider-Man (2012)
Well I was satisfied
The Amazing Spider-Man tells the story we have all seen before but in a significantly darker tone. Although I won't argue that this feature is better then the Sam Rami Spider-Man trilogy, I still stand by that this movie does things better. These things include acting, character development, and effects. Overall I enjoyed it but I see why people don't.
6/10
Life of Pi (2012)
Starts slow but gets better over time...
Life of Pi gets off to a slow, and frankly boring start but as time goes on the film get progressively better. The films greatest achievement is in its visuals. Nothing ever looked fake in the movie. Every shot in this film is a creative spectacle to gaze upon. Unfortunately the story although captivating is often boring and uninteresting. In the end it's a fun movie for its style but not for much more.
7/10
Sucker Punch (2011)
Overrealized
More often then not I really like this director. He normally makes creative, and entertaining films that stem from a source material. This is a movie were he attempts to create something completely original and to say the least it doesn't work. The story is convoluted the acting is very mediocre. Even the visuals are pretty overdone. Ultimately I see this as a bit of a black mark on this directors track record.

The Avengers (2012)
Over rated mind numbing boredom
With most movies I dislike I can see why others might like them. This is a movie that I honest to god can't see why anybody likes it. It's dumb, the characters are bland, the story is in consistent, and to put it bluntly I was board for the entire film. I was tapping my foot waiting for it to just end. Maybe I just don't like this movie for subjective reasons but none the less this movie just feels like it put everything that was kinda cool in other superhero movies into a blender and hit mix.
4/10
A torinói ló (2011)
The single worst movie ever made
I believe in effort but I can't even find the strength to get angry after this thing. Boring crap that everybody will think it genius when it is really just repetitive garbage for over 2 hours. By the way this movie will bore you so much that it will feel like it is a century. I hate this movie for the simple reason that I have never felt so board during anything in my entire life!!
1/10
Shame (2011)
Hits Close to Home
Shame tells a story that we hear so often that it gets rather tiring. In this masterpiece however Shame presents us with layered complex characters in a rarely seen divisive story. This is a movie were you think of were you stand on the situation throughout. They're moments were the movie will flip yourself on your head and make you question not only the characters but yourself as well.
10/10
Le gamin au vélo (2011)
Tragedy in a Family
The Kid with a Bike tells a story of child abuse in a smart, and respectful way. This is a film that has far to often been forgotten about that needs to be seen. This movie will make you feel almost like you are experiencing the events with the characters. All the characters feel like real people which makes you feel even more. See this movie ASAP!!
10/10
Real Steel (2011)
Mind numbing stupidity....
Real Steel is always doing the bare minimum to obese its viewers. Everything in this film is bland, boring, and painfully uninspired. Movies are meant to provide experiences not forgettable adventures. Everything in the movie is so average that you can not feel anything. Boring is the best way to describe Real Steel.
4/10
La piel que habito (2011)
Beauty that will Make you Think
The Skin I Live In, is masterfully directed master piece. Telling a story far to often forgotten about The Skin I Live In does not hesitate when it comes time to show what we need to see, in order to really feel the effects of the film. The Skin I Live in is not just a film but an experience!
9/10
Drive (2011)
Amazing Style Brings this Film Alive
Drive was fantastic! This is a film that surly works for its slow burning crafty style. This is a film that deserves so much more attention then it received. I can not stress how much you need to experience this movie. If you want to have an idea of what to expect, think Fast and the Furious meets The Place Beyond the Pines.
8/10
Toy Story 3 (2010)
Overrated Corny Fun!
Toy Story 3 is not a bad movie by any means, however it is without a shred of a doubt overrated. Although I do not personally love this movie I can certainly see why people do, because we're this movie succeeds is were the other two do. As a matter a fact that's sorta the genus of Toy Story. This is a trilogy that grew up with its viewers. The first one came out when we were blown away with cgi, the second came when we wanted more emotion with our animation, and this one came when we were all grown up. With that said Toy Story 3 is pretty much just good old fashioned corn, with a lot of heart.
6/10
Precious (2009)
Horrible film making
Precious is one of those movies that is so concerned with making a big political statement that it forgets to be a good movie. Everything in the execution department with this film screams incompatancy. There were moments when watching were I was genuinely confused as to why they did what they did. Honestly I am stunned by how people like this film. 3/10
Riding the Bus with My Sister (2005)
Does more to hurt the cause then help it
Riding the Bus with My Sister fails at a moral that can be taught within 30 minutes. Not only does this movie fail as a film but as a political statement as well. I don't think it's much of a secret that this movie is about society not accepting a mentally handicapped women, and is clearly on the side of us needing to accept those with mental illnesses. Now don't get me wrong I know many people like that with hearts of gold that I love. This is all the more reason that I'm disgusted by this film. To say the least it is a horrible depiction of what this movie try's to defend.
1/10
Synecdoche, New York (2008)
A Must Watch!
Charlie Kaufman knocks this one out of the park! However given his track record of such master works as Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Adaptation, and Being John Malkivch, this is although not a surprise by any means is probably his best film yet!
Synecdoche, New York is a prime example of the power of film. What I mean by this is the Synecdoche, New York (like Kaufmann other works) is not so much a dumb fun blockbuster as it is an interpretive piece of art that begs to be analized. To explain the plot of the film would be an injustice in it of its own right as this film is meant to be what you the viewer sees it as. This is a film that brings several ideas to the table that force you to think of your life in hind sight as well as question your thinking of death. The many themes in the film leave behind sutilties within that beg for interpretation.
To say anything else would be to tell you to much. This is one of my favorite movies of all time. The themes of life and death have given me hours of contemplation. This is not just a movie, but a complex series of events that create a magnificent art piece.
10/10
Brothers (2009)
Plays it so safe while acting like its something bigger.
Brothers is a movie that thinks of itself as a complex drama when in reality it is a simple story being told in such a pretentious way that it becomes incompetent. I am stunned that people liked this over dramatic, over acted, and horribly directed crap. Everything in the film is either average or below. It honestly feels as though it tried to hard to be bigger then it was
1/10
The Lion King (1994)
The Best Animated Movie of All Time
When thinking of animated gems, The Lion King is the first thing to come to mind. Everything in this film is near perfection in execution, and is flawless when hitting beats of emotion. This is a movie that has it all, a great cast, flawless music, as well as fantastic story. I strongly erge everyone to see this in theaters when it plays, if not only to simply support this master piece. No matter what mood you are in I guarantee enjoyment from this picture. 10/10
