Michael O'Hara the Fourth (1972 TV Movie)

Movies like this one are what made Disney great when I was a kid
1 April 2010
I first saw this movie in 1972 when it aired on two parts on the Wonderful World of Disney, Sunday night, 7:00 pm. I immediately fell in love with JoAnn Harris (I was fourteen)and have never forgotten the movie. In the early 80's I, like the other reviewer, found it on the Disney channel and taped it onto VHS. Unfortunately I then forgot all about it and the tape vanished somewhere over the years. I think this movie represents what made Disney so great back then (my adolescent crush on Ms. Harris aside). It was well done, fun family entertainment. It had humor and a good story and wholesome characters that kids could hopefully relate to. It was something the whole family could watch together without anyone cringing over something on screen. How many television shows can claim that today. I've always remembered this movie along with several others, "Inky the Crow" was one, and the series of Kurt Russell as Dexter Riley movies from the same time period. I miss this kind of entertainment.
