I am not used of comedies. But I had nothing to do today, so I went to this one. Not very funny but absorbing enough to kill time. No length in it, and characters who convince you. It is based on actual events that occurred several years ago. I hardly believe it.
See for yourself. A newspaper manager specialized in cars actuality recruits an ex con in his crew. And a friendship begins between the two pals. Till here, nothing special. But it begins to fall down when the manager, played by Edward Baer - BEWARE SPOILERS - is brought to help his friend on a robbery, too easily for my own opinion, and then the two pals get away with it. Just like that. And they buy old winning horse track tickets to justify their new good fortune... Just like that.
Too simple to be really true. But it seems it is...
