Grey's Anatomy: Helplessly Hoping (2021)
Season 17, Episode 7

Warning: Spoilers
This episode was definitely the worst Grey's Anatomy episode I've ever seen. I'm a huge fan of the show, but this was simply disappointing. Having to wait 4 months for it to come out, I expected much more. First of all, I hate the fact that the show now is tied to "Station 19", because I don't watch it and will not. A major event that was supposed to happen in Grey's happened in Station 19 and we just saw the crazy, nonsense aftermath of it. It made no sense whatsoever to kill DeLuca. There's literally a pandemic going on (right now I'm talking about in the show) and they chose to kill him out of nowhere (maybe not out of nowhere, because I know he was supposed to be killed in the last season, but didn't, because COVID didn't let them film it) and it simply didn't make sense. Other than that, Meredith (THE FREAKING MAIN CHARACTER) is STILL in a coma. Like, c'mon, we get it, but it's been too long now (7 episodes). And that's literally ALL that happened in the episode that we waited for 4 MONTHS. I know Grey's Anatomy is a sad show, but honestly I expected more exciting news in this episode. I'm considering to stop watching the show after 17 seasons because of this episode. Simply bad, I'm sorry, but the writers had so much more potencial.
