So only two reviews out of many gave this series positive ratings? Had I'd never seen this, I think I know who I'd be inclined to listen to.
This cartoon was one of the absolute best from my Childhood! From the music score right through to the animated drawing style itself... lingers in the memory years past the series conclusion. I found myself still humming the theme tune way into my adult years completely forgetting it came from this show until I stumbled upon it once again.
I was able to appreciate this series now from an adult perspective, and found little to complain about (apart from silly stuff like his clothes coming back on when becoming Banner again). I think the series picked up very well from where the Live action TV series left off, as it clearly gives a few nods to things from that series and rightfully so, as it was also a classic in it's own right.
This and the 1996 series that succeeds this, captures the Hulk comic book spirit the best of any other animated version of him before and since. Highly recommended.
