Warning: Spoilers
A cute young girl by the name of Miaka Yuuki discovers this mysterious book in a restricted area inside a library. She gets sucked inside this book and it is up to Yui her best friend in the real to read the book. Miaka meets a handsome young by the name of Tamahome who saves her from a gang of bandits. She then meets the emperor of Konon Hoatori who has unrequited love for Miaka. Miaka is reveled to be the persists of Suzuku in this book.

This story while it can get a bit meldromatic at times but I enjoyed, it's kinda like mixture of love and Isekai imo.

The ost is great and so is the art style.

The voice acting is good too, honestly, screw the dub hating goons in the reviews and make your own decisions on whether you want to watch it dubbed or subbed instead of listening to pathetic troll and Ken/Karen's how to watch anime. IMO while the dub does have some weak points but it's defiantly not atrocious either still better most modern day Funimation dubs.

The characters I personally don't mind the relationship between Miaka and Tamahome, it kinda reminds me of Tuxedo Mask and Sailor Moon or even Van and Hitomi from Escaflowne in terms of settings. Miaka is like Usagi as one person said in the reviews. The other characters are okay, though I didn't really like Nakago all that much.

All and all I honestly had fun with this.
