Way too long!!

The film "Invisible Life of Euridice" directed by Karim Aïnouz is a film that drags on and on to tell the story of two sisters raised and separated because of the rigid traditional values of Portuguese parents in Rio during the 50s. The saga of these two sisters searching for each other through decades, makes this drama repetitive and tedious for almost two and a half hours. Another issue is the editing, abrupt cuts or prolonged scenes make the film feels monotonous and tiresome. Amazing performances by both actresses, Julia Stockler as the oldest sister Guida and Carol Duarte as the youngest sister Eurídice. Also, a great job is done by the art direction in re-creating Rio de Janeiro of the 50s.
