A very good detective series based in historical Nalpes during the rise of Mussolini's fascism as a back drop to the Inspector. This detective is a clarivoyant who sees the ghosts of the murdered victims this adds an occult dimension to the story. He keeps his secret power/curse to himself yet it adds a mystery to his character another sense like Pirot. A lonely man devoid of a personal love life. He voyeurs from his window into her flat, the love of his life. The visuals are rich and stunning portraits of the 1930s. Its great they still have the architecture to frame the shots. The Italian spoken is easy to understand. The audio and cinematography is excellant. Like the Endeavor series this one captures the essence of the times cheers to masterpiece. The characters are rich yet complicated charcacters.
