Sex & Nudity

  • After jumping into the hotel pool, Kevin loses his bathing suit. He is not shown.
  • In the beginning of the movie, Frank is seen taking a shower, but the curtain obscures any nudity.
  • Under a sign for a hotel, there is an advertisement seen that says "Adult Films" at an "Hourly Rate"
  • While walking around, a boy has a brief encounter two women smoking, meant to be depicted as hookers.
  • Two men were chasing someone and he touched a woman's bottom and she slapped both people to lose them.

Violence & Gore

  • A kid watches a movie where a man confronts a woman for cheating and then grabs a machine gun and violently shoots that woman to death (no blood shown, the kid covers his eyes scared of the movie that he just watched).
  • When Kevin accuses Marv of being the one who caused the distraction by squeezing her butt cheek, "The Model" punches Marv in the face. Kevin accuses Harry after that, and the woman strikes him as well.
  • A kid sets up a trap. A man kicks open a door which a string is tied to a bag and that releases wrenches on his head, he falls and the last wrench hangs from the bag and drops on his head.
  • A man walks into an entrance of an abandoned house, he then gets pierced with a nail gun after opening a knob. The nails land on the man's torso and nose.
  • A man falls from the first floor to the basement and lands with a thud. The man cracks his neck done for slapstick.
  • A man walks on slippery slime and that makes him slip, fall and slide to a shelf of paint and that lands on him covering him with paint and he wipes it off afterwards.
  • A kid sets up wires on a faucet. A man who uses it is electrocuted from the sink and his skeleton is seen and Kevin is sadistic enough to turn up the voltage as it progresses, we see him shake and collapse to the ground.
  • In a crowded street of pedestrians, two man trip on beads from a necklace while chasing a kid. A kid uses his fingers to scrape off the beads off a necklace so when they chase after him, they slip and fall hard on their backs.
  • Two men chase after a kid. The kid runs upstairs and ties a string to a toolbox. One man pulls the knob which makes the toolbox slide from the stairs onto the door and that pins both of them to a wall breaking both their noses.
  • A man walks into a bathroom and turns on a lightbulb which gets his head caught on fire with a lighter and he panics doing a handstand on a toilet with kerosine. The building explodes and we see his face all charred up with dirt in his teeth.
  • A man tries getting a kid on a ladder but it breaks making him fall to the ground.
  • A man tries hopping on a ladder with slime and falls. A blob of slime lands on his head.
  • A man accidentally burns his head with a blowtorch while trying to turn on a light in the bathroom. Unknowingly, he uses the toilet to put it out, causing the entire bathroom to burn up causing the apartment to almost explode.
  • When Kevin sets fire to the kerosene-soaked rope he was descending on, Harry and Marv fall three stories to the ground, and Marv becomes completely covered in varnish.
  • After Kevin breaks the ropes supporting the paint cans with Marv, Harry and Marv almost avoid paint cans swinging on the stairs, but Harry gets hit by a piece of sewer pipe and is thrown to a basement where he gets hit by the pipe once again.
  • A boys mother and her family confronts a hotel manager for neglecting their child. The mother then smacks the manager in the face after he makes a rude remark to them.
  • Two men are walking by a crowded street and they pass a kid, the man looks at him then bumps into a woman having his hand stuck onto her purse, the man pulls his glove out and then tries to engage with her (the woman slaps him).
  • Two men chase after a kid in a hotel lobby, while a woman guards the elevator. The kid slides his way to the elevator while the men run and bump into her.
  • A kid slips hard on ice, we see the bad guys catch up to him and grab him.
  • A kid runs into two men, we see an 'M' shaped scar on a man's hand from the first movie.
  • A hotel manager breaks into a hotel room and he runs away scared, as he is running, he hits his leg on a stool.
  • Two men are arrested and one of the men kicks the other.
  • At the Christmas pageant Buzz starts a fight and Kevin punches him and the show breaks up and a woman gets knocked back in the piano chair. This is meant for laughs.
  • Like the first Home Alone there is slapstick violence but it's a little more harsh in this one. For example throwing bricks at people from the top of a building is extremely dangerous and could kill someone in real life.
  • A man is flung in the air, landing on a car (the roof/window shatters).
  • Both bad guys get bricks thrown at them from the top of a 3 story building but Marv ends up being the only one to get hit.
  • Seeds are thrown on two men and birds feed on them.

Profanity

  • Peter McCallister said "Dammit" when the police were on the phone.
  • Uncle Fred said "Pervert' while Kevin peaking while he was taking a shower.
  • Just like the first movie Kevin called Harry and Marv "Big Horses Ass."
  • Oh my god was use twice.
  • Thank God was once said.
  • Cinemax content advisory for this movie: rated PG for violence (V), adult language (AL) and adult content (AC).
  • Kevin mentions 'being crapped on', to which Kate says that she doesn't care for his choice of words.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Kevin watches a movie in which a character is seen smoking.
  • Brief smoking is seen by two women in the park.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Some may be disturbed by the level of violence used by a child towards the two bandits, despite most of them being played for laughs. Including a scene with brick throwing which is intended as comedic but in real life would result in serious injury or death.
  • The two antagonists seem genuinely prepared to kill Kevin. The leader tries to shoot a woman who is trying to save Kevin and only fails to do so because of Kevin's sabotage.
  • Much more violent than the first one.
  • Marv was repeatedly injured, beaten up, electrocuted, crushed, and being attacked by birds, but he still manages to survive.
  • Harry verbally threatens to shoot Kevin, using terms like "You'll be spitting gum out through your forehead." This may be disturbing for kids that understand what he is referring to.
  • Some intense chase scenes.
  • This movie is about a child who loses his family at an airport and goes to the wrong plane and ends up all by himself at New York during Christmas eve. He is accompanied by criminal escapees who intend of taking revenge on him by murdering him.
  • We see a child run into the two robbers, they grab him and kidnap him planning to cause him harm.
  • Kevin can be seen wandering alone in New York, Central Park at night with scary people approaching him and a taxi driver scaring him.

Violence & Gore

  • Kevin watches a movie in the hotel that includes a scene with machine gun fire.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Marv is seen being electrocuted, switching between human view, and skeletal view.
  • Throughout the film, Kevin experiences a strange lonely pigeon woman who at first makes him feel uncomfortable and scared. However, later on in the film, it turns out the lady is very friendly and even saves him from the Wet Bandits, much similar to Marley from the first film.
  • Harry and Marv point a gun at Kevin, The bird lady throws bird seeds at them and they eat on them and yell. The birds eating on them is the funny part of this scene.
  • Harry, a criminal, lands on a car, causing a window to shatter and a roof to collapse, triggered by a seesaw triggered by Marv.
