Dialogues are a little floppy and flimsy, and as a comedy it does not work well (as Mazzaropi's films in general, in my opinion; sorry, fans...). However, it is well filmed (despite a few edition problems) and - the most important - it portrays harsh times of slavery. For a mainstream high grossing movie in the 60's, it is not trivial. Worth watching (I do not use to say it about Mazzaropi cinematography, which, however, has a huge number of fans).
