A sad film
berzan17 November 2003
You might think that this film of Kemal Sunal is a comedy! It is also, indeed, there are so many scenes where you laugh yourself out and so much funny characters, but when you see this movie several times you will also notice that there is a sad theme in the movie especially for the role of Kemal Sunal as Zuhtu, a curious "köfte"-maker. He cannot help himself that he always is "meydanos", that's mean a man who always gets in trouble. One day when he helps a young girl (Gölgen Bengü) escape from her relatives, it ends by the custom of that time that he is forced to marry her.

He is welcome to his new family but soon thinks get complicated when his wife heirs a fortune. Zuhtu now gets enough of trouble from relatives of his own and hers who threats him to divorce, to make children and more. Poor Zuhtu don't know what he gonna do. By the time during his action with the relatives he gets also well-known with the girl and develops feelings for each other.

It's a very good movie. It has a brilliant story and so many wonderful characters. You just laugh yourself and gives you an excellent satisfaction.
