Roy Karch, tipping his hat to the 1963 Doris Troy hit song of the title, wrote and directed this forgotten Wicked Pictures release that is remarkably positive in all respects.
As the title suggests, it's all about love at first sight, with folks including unlikely couples getting the lightning strike and, this being porn, heading to the nearest humping location.
Central character is played by Nicole Sheridan, looking forward to a marriage proposal from her boyfriend Voodoo (her real-life husband). They're presented convincingly as a model case of the "struck by love" premise, and it seems that everyone they encounter catches the bug.
I kept waiting for the fly in the ointment to show up, but Karch manages to stay the course and give us bliss throughout the film. Beyond the leads, we have quality sex scenes featuring Alec Knight and temp secretary Lezley Zen; bartender Jim Beem and Czech import Sharon Wild; lesbians at a boutique Lori Pleasure and Shannon Adams; and girl with car trouble Nicki Hunter and her tow truck driver Reno.
I've seen dozens of movies made by Karch, some good, many mediocre, but this one definitely earns my respect.
