Pain, pain and more pain.
najwanimri17 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
It's an endless cycle, and fewer and fewer characters are really worth it. Still, this episode made me cry like I haven't in a long time. Someone please wake up Meredith at once.

Unexpected
ldochnenko12 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Ok so this review definitely contains major spoilers!

So after the ending of station 19 which leads directly into this episode I was expecting something to happen, but I still cried, even more than I did when Derek died.

When they said DeLuca had made it through the surgery I sighed but I was still expecting the 2nd show to fall and oh boy it did!

I cried for the mum who didn't get to hold her baby, cried when Amelia and Maggie told Zola that her mum had been placed on a ventilator and she said "We can't tell Bailey and Ellis they're too young to understand" and I ugly cried when I realised DeLuca wasn't clotting and had gone into DIC. The trail of blood as they rushed him back to the OR... They tears continued when he was making the sand castle saying he was running out of time. I feel like this signified as though he knew. Meredith knew. Saying "if I go back from here and you don't I'll miss you" (And then when his mum appeared and he ran to her... he was gone. No one wanting to call time of death...

It was brutal to watch with DeLuca being one of my favourite characters but wonderfully done, a truly fitting ending!

Haters will hate but this episode will break you.

Not what we wanted, or deserved, but it was a great "send off"
riverajose-9056812 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Sure we didnt expect Deluca to die at all because we thought Shonda Rhimes was done killing off main characters, but you have to admit, it was a great send off, certainly better than Alex Karevs

there's no hope
katieis10115 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
At first i thought doing covid would be interesting but the show is still taking place during march/april 2020 where everything felt hopeless so that's how every episode feels. they need to time jump QUICK to now where there's vaccines or literally eradicate it since they're always coming up with fake medicine....i just cant watch another episode where it's just tragedy and 7 episodes and the show has not moved forward. if this was any regular season the teddy/owen stuff would have been solved by episode 4. meredith would be awake by now. and because of filming restrictions there's just really long scenes where people are just talking and nothing is happening like i cant look at the backyard anymore or the one hospital floor they're allowed on now...i'm bored! things need to progress! nothing happens in every episode. and don't even get me started on deluca's exit. they give him a mental illness and then kill him off a season later? and they did it on a separate show?? remember when titular greys characters actually got the respect they deserved when they were killed off by actually showing it in greys! please separate the shows!!! we do not need anymore crossovers it's sickening at this point. there's no way this won't be the final season and that sucks because it's such a bad season for the legacy of the show. meredith is in a bed the entire season??? groundbreaking.

So unnecessary and sad
erikaszegodi14 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
There was really no need for this chapter to happen. We are already heartbroken because of reality itself to add this to our entertainment. For all of us who suffer from mental health issues Deluca was special and this was too sad.

The writing is boring and the plot is bland
miriamgonzalez-1452713 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Station 19 made Delucas death and relationship with Carina much more intense than what Greys Anatomy did. There's more of a story and entertainment in station 19 then greys. Maggie's love interest is forced and boring. Jo's exhausted stress from Covid is aggravating. Greys anatomy has lost their touch they had two seasons ago. Drop the covid storyline.

Nonsense
jdmoreno-5969913 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This episode was definitely the worst Grey's Anatomy episode I've ever seen. I'm a huge fan of the show, but this was simply disappointing. Having to wait 4 months for it to come out, I expected much more. First of all, I hate the fact that the show now is tied to "Station 19", because I don't watch it and will not. A major event that was supposed to happen in Grey's happened in Station 19 and we just saw the crazy, nonsense aftermath of it. It made no sense whatsoever to kill DeLuca. There's literally a pandemic going on (right now I'm talking about in the show) and they chose to kill him out of nowhere (maybe not out of nowhere, because I know he was supposed to be killed in the last season, but didn't, because COVID didn't let them film it) and it simply didn't make sense. Other than that, Meredith (THE FREAKING MAIN CHARACTER) is STILL in a coma. Like, c'mon, we get it, but it's been too long now (7 episodes). And that's literally ALL that happened in the episode that we waited for 4 MONTHS. I know Grey's Anatomy is a sad show, but honestly I expected more exciting news in this episode. I'm considering to stop watching the show after 17 seasons because of this episode. Simply bad, I'm sorry, but the writers had so much more potencial.

Episode Subtitle: Everybody Dies. The End.
kcarradini26 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Between the preachiness, the incessant dwelling on Covid, and all the dying, this show is no longer entertaining. The headlines are sad enough. Who needs more grief, even over fake people?

How long is Merideth going to be in a coma? This is ridiculous. So tired of that story line. Get over the covid. Other shows have.

There's been enough going on in the world to bring our moods down. Please bring some joy back, this is so depressing I've been skipping so much to avoid crying.

Please end this
david-344415 March 2021
My god, this show is awful. Will someone PLEASE put this show out of its misery? Shonda doesn't know when to quit, so someone else needs to do the right thing and euthanize this barely breathing beast.

Needs to end!!
Marynewcomb201325 March 2021
Losing main cast members is never good for shows & now two like cast members from this show have left in a years time!! Also the non medical storylines need to stop!! Kidnapping/sex trafficking need to be on police shows, not medical shows!! Also, propaganda needs to stop & PC needs to take a flying leap into an acid pit!!
