This episode was not a masterpiece by any stretch, but after a lot of the last couple of shows we've gotten here I will take what I can.
I am not sure what specifically they were parodying, maybe a movie or a TV show or both or just old-time classics, but Peter's over the top antics to keep Lois and Becky apart and deal with chaotic house events, including a rug that kept giving him issues, was simple and fun comedy.
The show made me laugh tonight and it did it with really just one A storyline and no side plots. A rarity for any kind of half-hour show, but maybe that is the way to go moving forward?
