Ok, I will be honest. I gave this show very very mean score.
Since all of season 1 and 80% of season 2 was abysmal the last 20% of season 2 actually got me hooked and it continue to grow on me
this episode was very good, but doesn't deserve over 9 points because there is this SUPER HUGE PLOT HOLE here
++spoiler++
Clary sacrificed herself to let the team escaped now she's captured by the Clave we all know nothing good ever came out of it.
BUT SHE ACTUALLY DID NOT HAVE TO In season 2, she created portal for the first time and BOTH she and Jace went through it. Since then she has created many more portal where EVERYONE including the caster can go in. Her portal is different from that of the warlock's that I assumed the caster cannot go in with the others(which is inconsistent!!. Dot make portal and got left behind every times while Magnus use it to go on dates with Alec!! Or maybe its just the different in magic power?) Anyway, she can just escape together, but no, she suddenly decided to stay.
And since she's clearly didn't do ANYTHING after the team disappeared, there's no need WHATSOEVER for her to stay behind. Only to be captured. And created more drama. But its just not good enough, its just lazy writing.
