"That'll do, pig. That'll do."
It's been 20 years since the world fell in love with the sheep-herding pig at the center of the film "Babe," which opened August 4, 1995. The movie was hailed as a kids' movie that delighted viewers of all ages -- it was the rare children's film nominated for a Best Picture Oscar -- as well as an advance in effects magic that launched a wave of live-action, talking-animal flicks.
It's hard to imagine that the G-rated classic came from George Miller, the same filmmaker behind the ultra-violent, hard-r "Mad Max" franchise. That's one of many things you may not know about "Babe," here are 19 more:
1. In 1986, producer/co-screenwriter Miller became interested in the story during a long plane flight from Sydney to London, where the woman seated next to him was laughing uproariously at Dick King-Smith's book, "The Sheep-Pig." Upon landing, he found the book in...

Awhile ago Jessica Cameron and I tried an experiment where I would interview her, but instead of conducting our interview sober like most sane celebrities do, we would drink throughout until we were both completely wasted. What you are about to see is an hour and forty-one minute drunken interview edited by Evan A. Baker from three hours of footage shot by a sober and very patient John Cox over the course of a four hour drinking binge.
The result is, to say the least, raw. Jessica and I both start out our charming and likeable media-friendly bests. But, we soon descend into drunkenness, and that's where the interview gets interesting. This is about the most real and unfiltered look at two public figures you are likely to find online. We fight, argue, and bicker over trivial topics, say things one really shouldn't say in a public interview,...

Beverly Hills, Calif. — Honey Boo Boo is getting some competition.
Another family from rural Georgia is coming to reality television, with "Hollywood Hillbillies" set to debut in January on ReelzChannel.

Kittrell is known as "The Angry Ginger" on YouTube, where a video he made to protest a "South Park" episode that claimed redheads have no soul gained attention.

If anyone attempts to sell you the idea that Christian Duguays, Boot Camp is a horror film: punch them in the face, hard. The idea behind the film, which is (very) loosely based on factual events, boils down to child manipulation, isolation, torture and murder. The problem with Boot Camp, is that screenwriters Agatha Dominik and John Cox are too damn afraid to push the boundaries far enough to even pretend to be horror. Maybe they never felt t…...

A quiet, unassuming Gold Coast commercial park may be the last place you'd expect to find an Academy Award, but there it is. Glinting in a glass cabinet, Oscar stares across the boardroom of John Cox's workshop behind Surfers Paradise. The golden statue (a legacy of Babe) keeps good company: assorted props from Nim's Island and Peter Pan, an alligator that tried to kill Rhada Mitchell in Rogue, Rhada Mitchell herself (in two sizes) plus a zebra from Racing Stripes. It's only a smattering of creatures that have been developed under his watch for TV, film, theme parks, galleries and advertisers alike.

Since Warner Bros set up a DC Entertainment unit to oversee adaptations of characters from DC Comics, fans have been eagerly waiting for news of which crimefighting crusader will next be heading to the big screen.
If you were hoping for an announcement on Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Arrow or any of the other big names, think again.
Today came the news that a long-planned film based on DC's Second World War hero Sgt Rock is moving forward. And it will instead be set in the future.
According to Heat Vision, I Am Legend director Francis Lawrence is to helm the movie while Chad St John is penning the screenplay.
Producer Joel Silver, who has for nearly 20 years been trying to get Rock on to the screen, is teaming with Akiva Goldsman, who has just come on board as a co-producer, to finally get the film made for Warner Bros.
