Happy Friday, fiends, and welcome back for the ninth day of Daily Dead’s 2017 Holiday Gift Guide. For today, we’re taking a look at a variety of horror-themed t-shirts and other apparel from a variety of online retailers, including Cavity Colors, Last Exit to Nowhere, Fright Rags, Terror Threads, T-Shirt Bordello, Tee Fury, Horror Merch Store, BeastWreck, Electric Zombie, Ript Apparel, The Monster Store, and Rock-n-Horror.
And just like yesterday’s Hgg featuring over 100 enamel pins, below only represents a fraction of each website’s inventory, so I do recommend poking around because you can find some really fun gifts for this holiday season.
Also, Daily Dead has once again put together some really cool Holiday Gift Guide prize packs this year, and for your chance to win one, just send an email to contest@dailydead.com with “Holiday Gift Guide” in the subject line and be sure to...

Four new wide releases this weekend should help propel the top twelve over $100 million this weekend and, for the first time in six weeks, show improvement over the same weekend last year. This weekend is also going big with sequels, delivering three of them including Tom Cruise returning as the title star in Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, the horror sequel Ouija: Origin of Evil and Tyler Perry's latest outing as Madea in Boo! A Madea Halloween. Fox will also be releasing the ensemble comedy Keeping Up with the Joneses and Pure Flix is releasing the faith-based, Columbine drama I'm Not Ashamed into just over 500 theaters. Overall the weekend top twelve should come in around $100-105 million if all goes as forecasted. At the top, it would be a nice win for Paramount should they land a #1 finish with Jack Reacher: Never Go Back. The studio has had a rough go this year,...

Tarzan, Space Sentinels, The New Adventures Of Batman, Flash Gordon, Bravestarr and more, as we salute Filmation...
For a child of the 1970s and 80s, nothing readied you for a half hour of quality entertainment quite like the Filmation logo. Immortalised by their phenomenal success with He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe, and its spin off She-Ra: Princess Of Power, Filmation produced some of the most fondly remembered animated series to grace the small screen.
Over a period of 26 years - in tandem with classic Doctor Who funnily enough - the company's writers, artists and producers delivered a staggering amount of programming. While naysayers point to Filmation's penchant for reusing a stockpile of rotoscoped body movements, or the heavy handedness of its moralising and educational content - children on the other hand, thrilled to an irresistible mixture of action, adventure and superhuman heroes.
Now something of a lost art form,...

Hyper Light Drifter is the epitome of polish.
A Kickstarted game that exploded beyond its original goals, thanks to a visually stunning prototype and the promise of a modernized take on challenging 8 and 16-bit classics, it took nearly three years to deliver. Now that it’s in our hands, though, it’s clear that every second of that time was worth the wait.
You play as the Drifter, an aptly-named warrior who appears suddenly and wanders through a ruined world, never staying in one place for too long. As you explore the terrain, you’ll face monsters and platforming challenges, using your sword, gun, and dashing abilities to fight and traverse. No proper video game these days would go without upgrades and progression, and there are plenty of new skills to learn and tools to acquire as you play. You’ll get access to new guns, additional sword and dash techniques,...

2014 was an incredibly rewarding year to be a comics reader. Veteran creators, like Grant Morrison, Kurt Busiek, and Matt Wagner continued to churn out some of the best work of their career while new creators, like Noelle Stevenson, Babs Tarr, and Tula Lotay had very strong starts. Marvel and DC published their fair share of events, including Original Sin, Multiversity, Spider-Verse, and seemingly a half-dozen Green Lantern crossovers, but they also took risks with new characters like Ms. Marvel, a mysterious female Thor, and the cast of Gotham Academy. Marvel and DC artists went far away from any semblance of a house style from the tapestry-like spreads of Elektra‘s Michael del Mundo, the Silver Age revivals of Silver Surfer‘s Mike Allred and She-Hulk‘s Javier Pulido, and the stylish character designs and Instagram-style layouts of Babs Tarr’s Batgirl among many others.

So Jesse James really does want to be chased out of America, right? The world’s biggest d—bag has snagged a deal with Gallery Books to write a tell-all memoir. In this book, Jesse will prove to be an even bigger loser by penning intimate details of his failed marriage to Sandra Bullock and his engagement to Kat Von D.
Which means we have to start a boycott now. Do not buy this book! Do not allow him to make money on this.Is the Vanilla Gorilla planning to talk about all his incredibly tasteless sexcapades as well? Is a certain Michelle “Bombshell” McGee going to make an appearance in this excuse for a book? Because if he’s going to have the gall to talk about Sandra, he had better own up to his pathetic infidelity and general grossness.

Just in case you had forgotten this fact (or forced yourself to): Kat von D and Jesse James are in love. Since it’s the holiday season, let’s just totally forget that he was a rat to now ex-wife, Sandra Bullock. Let’s not even mention that he has his own cheater-moniker, Vanilla Gorilla. Let’s skip over the fact that Jesse spent months wailing about how he “wanted to get caught” bonking, y’know, Nazi strippers. Michelle “Bombshell” McGee, who? What were we talking about? Oh yes, the love between Kat and Jesse. And since it’s all little ponies and unicorns with these two, Kat needed to spread their joy to the world. On Twitter, of course. Kat tweeted a simple, “<3″ with the photo pictured above. For some strange reason that old Spice Girls song, 2 become 1 is playing in our head. And now we’re just creeped out.
