The first trailer for director Adam Gierasch’s “Fertile Ground”, one of the titles on After Dark’s 2011 Horrorfest schedule, is now online. Gierasch’s got a pretty interesting resume. Besides directing, he’s also written and starred in plenty of genre movies, including “Toolbox Murders” and the recent remake of “Night of the Demons”, which he also wrote and directed. Emily and Nate Weaver leave the city for the rural comfort of Nate’s ancestral home in New Hampshire. Once there, Emily is repeatedly haunted by horrifying visions and becomes overwhelmed by the total isolation of their new home. Just as she discovers she is pregnant, Nate starts exhibiting increasingly strange and violent behavior. In a house haunted by past victims, Emily fears she is the latest target in a murderous tradition. Starring Gale Harold, Leisha Hailey, Jami Bassman, JoNell Kennedy and directed by Adam Gierasch. function getVideo() { var so = new SWFObject("http://cdn.
