Uh, no. Missed the boat - or should I say plane?

Warning: Spoilers
While I like the premise (which wasn't revealed until the end) of a fictional love story paralleling the "real" love story happening, in the end, the "story romance" if you pull it apart from the writer's story and take it on its own merits it's dull and not so inspiring that the author finally gets published, it doesn't work. The fake love story is boring -- girl meets handsome guy, who is a rich ad exec, and she inspires him for a campaign with some random sentence and she decides to follow him to his new position that she inspired....it's total drivel. Like who cares? The big reveal at the end of the thing she can't bring herself to tell the guy is that she can't have children and that's why she doesn't want to burden him by marrying him. I guessed that plot point in the first 15 minutes and it's just dumb -- adopting, surrogates, etc. being available. Anyway, I think they missed the plane in the end -- if you do watch it this will sort of make sense.
