Not really worth watching
livin_the_weekend20 January 2021
*NON-SPOILER*

Found myself a little confused with some of the stories within the film, it was all a bit too rushed and they tried to fit too much into the duration of this film. Sloppy acting for most part, sometimes I wonder with films like these, what is the actual point? Find an edge to the storyline, then at least if the acting isn't the best, the plot will attract viewers and good reviews. Sorry, but not for me.

REAL review time.
MikeHunt107520 April 2020
The first 3 reviews are fake. Who cares who directed this, and the acting is terrible... most of them have dumb conversations only those with stripped of all identity office workers would have. It's as unrealistic as it gets. Have these people ever had a conversation with someone else before?? There is no chemistry and you don't care about the characters at all.

The plot is a bunch of dweebs go camping and tell ghost stories until they realise they're part of one. Seen it done many times before already.

The linking of each story to the next in some way is eye rolling bad. It's not clever, and the rest of it is stupid and makes no sense.

I may not have found myself bored during the movie, and got through it from start to finish, but it's nothing I would recommend to anyone. If you have absolutely nothing better to watch, it might be ok for a nights viewing, but it's nothing special, nothing original, nothing memorable and certainly nothing you'd ever regret passing up on ever seeing it.

Messy and cliché
andreahrg31 May 2020
While i wasn't bored, i would not recommend this to anybody. There isnt much originality and the acting is mediocre at best. Visual effects were good except for a few shots that looked like snapchat filters. The beggining of the movie drags on way to long, even for an anthology movie. It wants to be too many things at once, but fails at most of them. The climax and end were entertaining, if a bit sloppy.

Bin Movie with no heart.
serrerus23 August 2020
I'm on the fence. the movie in itself is terrible. one of them movies you don't want to find, yet someone gives you, because they are bored, you got nothing to watch.so you put it on, and wonder why everything about the movie is so bad. it's familiar, it's cliche, it's too long, and all of the heart is just a big fart. I really wished it could of been better then it actually was. some of the fun was just shoved out the window. Low budget, overacting acting with friendly porno undertones. It's almost like we are watching a family film, run by people who think they are great at a craft they just threw something in to get paid. I'm into indie cinema, some of it is actually really good. This just reminded me of dated fun. Sometimes wondered if anything was dubbed, as the voices just didn't add up, to the type of movie they were in. you know i'm going to say my lines in really monotone ways, just to get it over with? you know friendship movies. It's hard to make a movie, yet when you make one that belongs in a bin some 7-eleven found in a long run down country road, and wonder if it's worth the twoonie it's asking for.I'm really into anthology movies,as some of them are really really good. this too long. Plus half the time it is not believable. okay let me tell you a story. there was a movie called millenial massacre, where these friends go on a camping trip to a vacation spot before a festival. only thing is. nobody really seems organic or real. Just a bunch of characters that are apart of the cancel culture majority. so basically the story is. the black man of the group goes into constant panic attack, and doesn't really contribute to anything, then to freak out and run away, and get away while stealing the park rangers truck,as he's fearing for his life, and never considered going back for his friends, and god this movie went on fore too long. the acting made me want to burn my eyes out and go watch something else, but i kept thinking this could get better right? nope then the 2 dollar gore came out. you know super glue on, and was made of plastic, and isn't looking fantastic? I give this movie 0 banana cream pies for actually not even trying to do anything remotely different or fun, or at all fun. i'm thinking this was a one time pay off, and was done for hardly any care in the world. if you'd of cut off some of the main backstory of to why these stories exist and put in a greater budget and more care to actually get a performance out of your actors, and not make it look like an acting by numbers movie maybe i'd give it a better go. I think my brain just went another way. the opening scene on bench was the funniest part of the movie.listen i don't mind a good bad movie. Zombeavers, highway to hell, and some others if it pulls it off in a great manner. This just pulls it off so bad that you end up shouting at the movie screen wondering why you went too watch it in the first place. something you just go talking to. like imagine having a fight with your girl, and you wonder why you fighting, so the cops get called and you walk away, and someone goes where you going, and you reply i'm going home. You know you got another bin movie you don't want to see, but want to watch as you got nothing else to watch. I've got so many expletives to say, but It won't let me.actually care about the product. it's hard to make a full length. just don't blow it off as a 1 off.

Ok for new film makers
daillstate17 May 2020
Seems like a group of friends in Las Vegas put in some time and effort to make this movie. I'll give credit for makeup and special effects. The acting fell apart towards the end. Felt like improv moreso thank a movie the play 30 minutes.

Enjoyable comedy-horror anthology.
jaweebelow12 April 2021
Yes it's a low budget "B-movie", but what this film does with it turned out great in my opinion. Anyone who knows they can enjoy "b-movie horror" will enjoy this if you are looking for a decent comedy-horror.

The opening scene was a little off when compared to the rest of the movie, but once it gets going and the "stories" start, it gets much better.

Overall - A fun, b-movie style, comedy-horror anthology movie, a few good scares and some laughs with a decent "backgroud plot". Good cast for the most part and decent camera work, with no silly over-the-top editing, made this an enjoyable film.

5/10.

Good movie for a hilariosity
diana-steau30 May 2021
I don't even know where to start. The acting is so bad, it makes you cringe every 2 seconds. There is no plot. The visual effects are horrible. Total waste of time.

OK IF YOU CRAVE GORE
Didn't even finish this; it was that horrible. I fast-forwarded it, hoping to get past the sick parts to more of a plot than cracking skulls open, but to no avail. Wrapped it up and found something more cerebral to watch. Not worth my time. The art of horror genre has metamorphosed into depravity and plots aren't even necessary anymore. Sad.

Fun tale about what scares us
williamgway18 April 2020
Was not sure what to expect in this movie. Reviews were mixed. But I liked it. Simple and well told story about what we have all done at some point. Tell scary stories. Good cast, pretty well acted and a decent script. Director Mark Stephens did a nice job pulling it together. There were some pretty good suspenseful moments. Worth a watch.

Such a fun movie!
craigahrens17 April 2020
I wasn't expecting too much but I love indie films so I thought... what the heck. You never know quite what to expect from an indie film and that for me is half the fun. Well I'm glad to say this one did not disappoint. I thought it was terrific! The filmmakers did a really good job and I was entertained throughout. A wonderful job in casting. I thought the characters were a lot of fun! So for me, a thumbs up for sure!!

Fun, sexy and deliciously campy
JCanni6822 April 2020
This film is a fun collection of horror stories told by campers trying to one-up each other, with each story full of surprises, some familiar and others original, with a mix of styles. Not every story will land, but there are enough scares, twists and laughs to keep you entertained. Overall the film feels nostalgic but fresh in it's delivery.

A creepy indie horror gem.
harriscalvin-118 April 2020
Scare Me was a creepy indie gem. Director Mark Stephens did a fantastic job pulling the best performances out of all his actors. The movie was told in a unique style. A throw back a classic horror films. The music, editing, and camerawork were all on point.

Typically people do not like anthology movies. I do! This one was well executed especially considering the budget.

I get it, pretty good job of conveying a theme
WermhatsWormHat10 February 2021
Possible theme spoilers, no plot details. I watched this movie by accident. Another movie by the same name came out around the same time. Very happy accident. I loved the campy horror satire and I loved the real horror and I loved the sneaky way the themes about our society are weaved into it. The rating must be low because it's getting no exposure and it's kind of like South Park in that it's liable to irk people no matter what your beliefs on society and politics. It doesn't really pick a side on that, but theres definitely an underlying theme and I get it and really loved it even though I'm pretty sure the creators would disagree with my own philosophies on some of the subjects. Awesome movie. I hope others get it. Don't be crazy. No matter your beliefs, keep it cool brah

Very entertaining
frankenyolandi1 May 2020
This is a fun horror film to watch and should not be taken too seriously. I didn't mind the low budget at all, the story was well written and entertaining enough to carry the film. It was not too intense, but it was suspenseful ... if takes makes sense. I had a blast watching it!

I love the poster. The twist and turns during each story keep you invested. The sound track helps tie it all together. Very entertaining! Worth the watch.
