Parkinson's Research
ZegMaarJus25 September 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This Episode begins with Nick, he asks Meredith out for a date. Noah and Danny have been brought to the hospital. Richard gives the interns a lesson today. Levi and Helm perform Robin her surgery together. Nick and Meredith have a date together, they seem to like each other. Meredith wants to do the parkinson's trial for David. Solid Episode of Grey's Anatomy Season 18, the level of the start of this Season is not the level i was hoping for. Meredith will do the Parkinson's trial for David, she will do it party in Minnesota and the other part in Seattle. Looking forward to this new experimental research!

Not the same as it used to be

This series seems like a spoof, it's simple not the same programme I used to enjoy. The story is uninspiring and so are the characters.

It's a shame as in its heyday they show was superb, it's a shadow of its former self.

I figured it was bad, but not that bad.

How long are they planning on destroying what will be remembered of the show? The raunchy humor used to be funny, like a decade ago. Back when the jokes were not played on a loop, with imaginary laugh tracks. The medicine was not plagued by woke subtexts, either. Like, let's burn all the statistics, so this or that won't be too offended by what medical history gathered about them over the ages. And treat each patients like a special case. Let's see how long this will last, when they'll have to pay for more staff and equipments. And hospitalization's hours. But what am I talking about? This is Grey's Anatomy, the medical show that takes place in a little liberal bubble. Where money pours out of every doctors ears, and you don't need a diploma or a visa, to work at the hospital anymore. Take away all this cringeworthy stuff, and the show would be tolerable. But as it is, more than 80% of the script, you can't watch it for more than five minutes before switching it off.

Warning: Spoilers
Where to begin? I was pretty exited for this season but after just 2 episodes I just don't understand how much of interesting story was simply skipped or dumped. Merediths new love interest was already very annoying and uninteresting his first appearance years ago, its clear he didn't go to acting class since (maybe even never). The guy is completely no match for Mer. Awful choice to dig this actor up again. Jo's storyline has gone from one of the most captivating to sitcom bs.

Abigail Spencer is also back, she is an amazing (tv) actress...she joins grey's to make sure the majority of people will never know that.

Sack all these writers asap, cancel season 19 and spend whatever budget you had put aside for it, on 3 final episodes written by writers that are at least 50 yrs old. After that just let this show go.

I miss the old Grey's

Agree with the other reviewers that the newer season of Grey's is not as intense and interesting as it used to be. It is just meh now. There is minimal character development. Everyone feels like a bland version of themselves. And there are far too many characters to even bother getting invested in anyone beyond the main characters. Good on Grey's for bringing in a transgender character and addressing racial disparity in health treatment but it feels so forced.
