Important film calling attention to the destruction of California's forests
hswriter17 July 2014
This film calls the viewers attention to the destruction of one of the many watersheds being devastated in California.

The destruction of the forests in Northern California have a significant impact on the entire state.

The Sacramento River is fed by the watersheds in the North. When the forests in these watersheds are sprayed repeatedly with herbicides and clear cut, they leach huge amounts of herbicides and dirt into the watersheds that feed the Sacramento River.

Sierra Pacific Industries lumber company is clear-cutting and spraying herbicides over vast swatches of Northern California.

If you thought the state government was regulating this industry, you would be sadly mistaken.

It is important to educate ourselves by watching this film now, while there are still habitats and forests to be saved.
