Part 2 genuinely left me very excited for the remainder of the series, I think my understanding of what's going on is a little better. The same amount of fighting, and violence, it was quite thrilling in parts.
Poor Jason Flemyng! He's a totally brilliant actor, he lasted less time then Matthew Macfadyen, the screen time he did get was fantastic. That was a shocker.
We all sniggered and said the same thing when the scrolls appeared later in the episode, we were glad Brida didn't get hold of them earlier! There were some nice touches of humour throughout, it was needed and it worked.
David Dawson absolutely stole the show, his performance as Alfred was utterly brilliant, he was so watchable, I believed every word he said, and that speech about a United England, tremendous!
Loved it. 9/10
