Another good and entertaining episode; that 2% moment was hilarious. Does this season has something to do with Spider-Man Far from home and the multi verse plot?

The show continues to be weird!
noorea-851471 June 2019
I am not sure what the writers of the show are smoking but the last 2 episodes had been crazy weird! very funny and carefree (while having heavy dark elements) and I think it's the kind of thing that either works or doesn't..I'm loving it but it is a departure from the show we know and some people may find it jarring.
Mo's debut as a social media influencer was so much fun, she is a good actress and I loved her character. The way Deke's character has been taken is surprising, leaves many questions to be answered but it sets his character up for having a different dynamic with the team. I also really like the small hints we got on Sarge's team and their motivations and the harrowing stuff with agent Keller proved a great counter balance to the silliness of the Deke stuff.
I do have an issue with the way the story is going back and forth between earth and space, it works great for making each episode concise and focused, but it is hurting the overall momentum of the season, hopefully the next few episode we'll have more connected story lines.
Loving the madness

I have to admit, I wasn't too enthused by the idea of having Clark Gregg back playing a different character than Coulson, but Sarge and his team are definitely growing on me. There's a lot more to unpack about their purpose for being on Earth.
I LOVE Deke. I mean, he's a rat, but I love him anyway. Props to the writers for bringing him back in a big and hilarious way. Everything about what he did in this episode fit perfectly with his characterization from the previous season. His girlfriend character was also enjoyable - a caricature, to be sure, but I don't mind. I actually love SHIELD's track record for juxtaposing the serious with the ridiculous.
This episode and the last had both me and my dad laughing like maniacs, and yet managed to keep the feeling of tension and suspense all the while.
Definitely my favorite show right now.

Fantastic Episode of a fantastic show
namob-436731 June 2019
This episode was absolutely fantastic. Agents of Shield has always been great, and the last few seasons have not only been the best TV you could see anywhere in the world, but the show also produce some of the best episode ever made. This belongs in that corner among the very, very best.
Action amazing, humor brilliant, directing fantastic, music great, and the suspense was killing me all throughout. If this had been 40min longer and put on the big screen this would have been the best movie of the year.
Hyperbolic? No.
This episode was Alien + Die hard + Invasion of the Body Snatchers + the regular brilliance of AoS.
This show man... oh my Lord, This show!

Absolutely the best episode in some time, definitely the best so far this season. I really liked the blend of action and humour in this one, it worked very well. I was on the edge of my seat watching most of it. Good to see Deke again, he's a survivor!
Yo-yo's super power = using the retaining strip
fatpanda-754723 June 2019
Warning: Spoilers
The whole episode is embarrassing. Super Yo-yo only knows to use her super power to fix her lover onto the bed but nothing else?
She cannot move at all when she sees the bat flying all around?
The shield Lab looks so weird without Jemma and Fitz.
Still love the old show...

Holy ANNOYING!!!!

This episode was great except for one factor: Sequoia. She is easily one of the most annoying characters I have ever seen in a TV show. The post SHIELD logo scene at the end of the episode made me want to puke. I rarely say this about a character but I really hope she gets killed off. IF she becomes a regular it will definitely put me off of watching any more episodes this season. Sequoia, please do us all a favor and GO AWAY!!!!
Wasn't Great
RachelUndercover3 June 2019
The parts with Deke were fun but other than that this episode was poorly written this season as a whole hasn't been great so far but after last weeks episode I thought oo yay the season is starting to pick up a bit, but no. This is the worst episode of the season so far.
No more powers?
zigapostra1 June 2019
Warning: Spoilers
So far this season is just fine, but what bothered me in this episode is that 'Yo-Yo' just kind of lost her powers and is just looking around confused. i mean when the super fast girl asks where did the bat go i just lost it. and she also just watched it get inside another agent ....

Mocking Instagram Influencers at the end was great, but the show having a bat alien was a bit too much.
I think they rushed the first "Coulson" and Mae meeting too. That should have been saved for when he becomes himself again.

Obvious the director had worked on no other episodes

Warning: Spoilers
Clearly doesn't fit AoS canon; I didn't even have to check IMDb to know the director had made no other AoS episodes. (And after the last episode, they really needed to make clear the show wasn't off the rails, so the timing of this was especially unfortunate.)
Why did May say she "never needed" guns, when she's used them repeatedly throughout the show? How did the big guy end up in the Framework game just by walking through a door? Why didn't Yo-Yo use her power the instant the zombie bat-bird started flying around? None of it made sense.
I can appreciate the mockery of Silicon Valley culture (they really are obsessed with boba and social media in my experience), and I didn't mind that the episode ended in a way similar to Spider-Man's intro (letting a social-media post fill the screen, and divulging way too much information to the public), but on the whole, this was the worst AoS episode. And I thought that before I even noticed other reviewers saying the same.

It gets boring & repetitive
SallyWilliams4 June 2019
I hate it when professional agents only behave like amateurs. And it's getting worse. Yo-Yo & agent May acted real dumb. And nothing more boring than a bunch of strange bad guys who get away every single time, even though the team knows how dangerous they are. Sorry this is total crap. The only thing worth watching was Deke's story. That was fun & entertaining. Hope they give us better episodes soon, otherwise I'm out
Easily the worst episode in AoE history
jeriahswillgdp9 June 2020
Was this episode made by consulting a bunch of tweens from an Ariana Grande fan club? I mean what the hell was that absolute rubbish at the end? Horrible. And Sequioa and the Butterfly girl are two of the most obnoxious television characters I've seen in a long time.
Just skip this episode, save yourself.

Didn't answer anything!
danwolak-1269710 June 2019
Warning: Spoilers
In this episode, we see that Deke Shaw is doing very well for himself, but the storyline wasn't advanced much besides that. We have no idea what is happening with Fitz, Enoch, Jemma, and Daisy, and we still don't understand who Sarge and his team are or why he looks just like Coulson. But ending the episode with that stupid selfie taken by Deke's assistant??! Maybe 3 stars is a bit generous for this one!
Crap on a screen.

Easily one of the worst episodes of the entire series.
jeriahswillgdp9 June 2020
Who is writing this garbage? Did they consult a bunch of tweenie boppers for that last part? That was a travesty to mankind, and so is Sequioa. Her and the Butterfly girl are two of the most obnoxious television characters I've seen in a long time. I am Not liking where this show us going if there is anymore of that garbage.

Definitely NOT Written by Famous David Zuckerman (German Sugar, Man).
Creator Jack Kirby must be swearing from where ever.
Portrays Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as too stupid by allowing a Time Paradox to happen with Shaw.
Entertainment Value 8, accurately portrays the pampered reality devoid rich of social media (what they put on Social Media as what they believe are "important").
"someone really needs boba", all of you do know that literally boba means "large breasts, large-breasted woman"?
