According to a new report from Batman News, the huge "Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice" production will be heading to New Mexico instead of Africa in light of the huge Ebola epidemic that's going on over there. Apparently, they want to create an African setting in the movie, so they will be using the dirty New Mexico setting to mimic the look and feel of Africa and stay Ebola-free. This intel was confirmed through some Instagram posts by a crewmember, named John Dugan, which stated: "Next location here we go, flyin with pops! See ya Detroit.. Hello New Mexico ! #studiolife #local755 #detroit #atlanta #elpaso #newmexico #flyinghigh.” “New Mexican sunrise #studiolife #local755 #batmanvssuperman #newmexico #sunrise.” The casting notice states that they will need entire families ,ages 8 and older, to re-create an African village scene. The deserts in New Mexico can easily pass for Morocco, the location in Africa that they originally wanted to shoot at.

Thanks to some digging by Batman News we now know that Deming, New Mexico will serve as the replacement location for the production that would have taken place in Africa. Initially, Henry Cavill news found through the New Mexico Film Office website that Warner Bros. was looking for extras back in September. Batman News spotted some Instagram posts from crew member John Dugan which confirm that the New Mexico posting is for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. “Next location here we go, flyin with pops! See ya Detroit.. Hello New Mexico ! #studiolife #local755 #detroit #atlanta #elpaso #newmexico #flyinghigh” “New Mexican sunrise #studiolife #local755 #batmanvssuperman #newmexico #sunrise” Supposedly, filming of a "village scene" will commence in mid November after shooing has finished in Chicago, Illinios. What could they be filming? Speculate in the comments below.

Leatherface cranks his weapon of choice for yet another outing that starts interesting and wastes any potential it had in the opening minutes. Texas Chainsaw (the seventh film in a franchise that has never lived up to the first) was directed by John Luessenhop (Takers) from a screenplay by Kirsten Elms, Adam Marcus and Debra Sullivan (both who wrote the story with Stephen Susco). It stars Alexandra Daddario, Dan Yeager, Trey Songz, Scott Eastwood, Keram Malicki-Sánchez, Tania Raymonde, Shaun Sipos, Thom Barry, Richard Riehle, and Paul Rae. The film also features cameos from stars of the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre - including Gunnar Hansen, John Dugan and Marilyn Burns. Although the film.s story is so weak it seems...

Last week a new poster was released for Texas Chainsaw 3D showing off several different human leather faces worn by the horror movie icon. Today, thanks to Styd, we bring you a new photo from the film featuring Leatherface lurking around in the dark with his chainsaw.
The movie centers on a young woman named Heather who discovers that she's a direct descendent of the crazy Sawyer family from Tobe Hooper's original film, and she goes back to Newt Texas to learn a little more about her family history. As a fan of the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, I'm kind of excited to see how this one turns out.
Here's the synopsis:
Lionsgate’s Texas Chainsaw 3D continues the legendary story of the homicidal Sawyer family, picking up where Tobe Hooper’s 1974 horror classic left off in Newt, Texas, where for decades people went missing without a trace. The...

We’ve had a general idea of what to expect from the latest Texas Chainsaw Massacre film, but following yesterday’s poster release, we now have new details from the official plot synopsis. You’ll also notice that the official title is now Texas Chainsaw 3D.
“Lionsgate’s Texas Chainsaw 3D continues the legendary story of the homicidal Sawyer family, picking up where Tobe Hooper’s 1974 horror classic left off in Newt, Texas, where for decades people went missing without a trace. The townspeople long suspected the Sawyer family, owners of a local barbeque pit, were somehow responsible. Their suspicions were finally confirmed one hot summer day when a young woman escaped the Sawyer house following the brutal murders of her four friends. Word around the small town quickly spread, and a vigilante mob of enraged locals surrounded the Sawyer stronghold, burning it to the ground and killing every last...

Leatherface will be back wielding his bloody chainsaw at audiences in Texas Chainsaw 3D. Lionsgate has released the first poster for the horror film featuring a bunch of lovely human leather faces that comes along with the tagline... "Evil Wears Many Faces."
The movie takes us back to Newt Texas, and centers on a young woman named Heather who discovers that she's a direct decedent of the crazy Sawyer family from Tobe Hooper's original film. One of the great things about this film is they got some of the stars of the original film to come back including, John Dugan who will reprise his role as Grandfather and Marilyn Burns, Bill Moseley and Gunnar Hansen.
I love the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie, and I'm actually a little excited to see how this newest sequel turns out.

Horror cameos are all the rage in this week's Horror Bites, where the scare classics "Evil Dead" and "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" will be seeing some famous faces in their reboots of the terror tales.
You'll probably shed a tear learning that Ron Howard's "Dark Tower" adaptation was slashed by Universal, but news that the long-awaited "Cabin in the Woods" – from "Cloverfield" writer Drew Goddard, who co-wrote the screenplay with "The Avengers" director Joss Whedon – is finally getting a release date should quicken your pulse. Friday the 13th in 2012 is going to be a memorable year for the horror spoof about a group of friends who hit the woods for some R&R, but end up fighting for their lives (snarky style).
Check out this week's best horror news past the break.
