In the comments section of last year’s Best Movie Posters of the Year I got a nice shoutout from an unexpected and most welcome source: the Alhambra Cinema in Keswick, in England’s Lake District. Built in 1913, the Alhambra is apparently the sixth oldest continuously-running cinema in the UK. I’ve been writing introductions to these annual Movie Poster of the Year roundups for fifteen years and so I am quite happy to cede the floor this year to the good folks at the Alhambra, because who better to talk about movie poster design than the people who run one of the cinemas that rely on it?Excellent choices and all great posters. For our cinema in the Lake District, the five quads we have outside make a big difference. When a poster is truly impactful, it definitely draws people in (I would only have added “The Duke” and...

Blumhouse revealed a new motion logo this weekend, on the company’s film, “The Black Phone,” which opened to 23.6M domestically. The new logo preceded the film and is the company’s first ever update to its motion logo.
“Our new logo is a fun tribute to our Blumhouse films and television series, and I’m curious to see if our fans can spot all the hidden symbols we’ve included throughout,” said Blumhouse CEO and Founder Jason Blum. “I’m thrilled we unveiled it with Scott Derrickson’s The Black Phone, so fans saw the new logo on the big screen.” Read our review Here.
“The original Blumhouse logo holds a special place for horror fans like me, so we wanted to honor that legacy while creating something new. This new logo pays tribute to the original version and incorporates a lot of fun Easter eggs...

Starz announced that the next drama in the “Power” franchise, “Power Book IV: Force,” will premiere Feb. 6, 2022.
The show stars Joseph Sikora, reprising his “Power” role of Tommy Egan as he leaves New York after losing Ghost (Omari Hardwick). He sets out to close an old wound he has been haunted by for decades, but he ends up caught in a labyrinth of family secrets and lies and finds himself in Chicago’s drug game — between the city’s two biggest crews. Over the course of the first season, Tommy will use his outsider status to his advantage, breaking and rewriting local rules on a quest to become the biggest drug dealer in Chicago.
Isaac Keys, Lili Simmons, Gabrielle Ryan, Shane Harper, Kris D. Lofton, Anthony Fleming III, Lucien Cambric and Tommy Flanagan also star in the series from Courtney A. Kemp and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. Kemp executive produces the...

It’s funny to think that streaming services like Netflix didn’t bother creating posters for their original work a few years back knowing they’d never have to contend with competition at the local multiplex. Slowly but surely they began doing a few here or there before steadily growing to the point where it seemed they enjoyed being able to embrace out-of-the-box designs for the same reasons they avoided the process altogether.
Now we’re at the end of a calendar to forget that saw a majority of theaters shuttered for nine straight months to make it so streamers became king. Big studios pushed titles out of 2020 altogether, small studios went virtual, and Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, et al. watched subscriptions soar. Suddenly their digital multiplex formed the playground for cinematic competition and the continued creativity of poster design found itself working at the top of its game just like always.

Above: some runners-up among my favorite posters of the decade. From left: Black Swan by La Boca (2010); Obit (2016) by Kristin Bye; Nebraska (2013) by Blt Communications; Wreck-It Ralph (2012) designer unknown; Escapes (2017) by Brandon Schaefer.Ten years ago, not long after I had started writing about movie posters for Mubi (back when it was called The Auteurs), I was called upon to come up with my favorite movie posters of the decade. It was a daunting task since I hadn’t been keeping track quite as carefully as I have these past ten years, but it was also somewhat of a novelty since there weren’t a lot of people talking about movie posters either in print or online back then. Looking back at that list of ten years ago, there are a couple of posters I might not choose today and I’d definitely bump Neil Kellerhouse’s poster for The Girlfriend Experience...

In the past four months or so since I last did this, the following on my @movieposterofthday (leave off the last e for elegance) Instagram has more than tripled, which makes this best-of round-up more competitive. Sadly, as is often the case, a lot of my posts were occasioned by the passing of an actor or director, or, in the case of the most popular poster yet, by a composer. The lovely two-color American half sheet for The Umbrellas of Cherbourg was posted in honor of Michel Legrand, who passed away in January at 86 just the day after Serbian director Dušan Makavejev, who was also 86 and whose ribald German poster for Sweet Movie also made the top 20. Other passings recognized were Stanley Donen (with a Japanese Funny Face), Nicolas Roeg (a Us Performance), and Bruno Ganz (a French Wings of Desire). It’s impossible to tell if people are liking...

“Nobody will go to a film because the guys were on schedule and on budget. It’s how good the film is,” Alejandro Gonzalez Iñárritu recently said, commenting on The Revenant‘s tough shoot and $135 million budget, ballooning from a proposed $60 million. Leonardo DiCaprio echoed the struggle, saying, “I can name 30 or 40 sequences that were some of the most difficult things I’ve ever had to do. Whether it’s going in and out of frozen rivers, or sleeping in animal carcasses, or what I ate on set. [I was] enduring freezing cold and possible hypothermia constantly.

When inspired movie-poster art like The Social Network is created, similarities inevitably follow in promos from The Program to The Kings Speech
You might notice something familiar about the poster for Stephen Frears’s upcoming Lance Armstrong biopic The Program. To the left of Ben Foster’s face are the words “Champion Hero Legend Cheat,” and while this effectively articulates what makes the disgraced cyclist such a compelling figure, the inspiration for the tag line is instantly recognisable. Like so many other efforts from recent years, The Program arguably owes a debt to the most surprisingly influential movie poster of the past decade: Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg was likewise represented on the poster for 2010’s The Social Network as “Punk Prophet Genius Billionaire Traitor.”
The Social Network poster was the work of Neil Kellerhouse, the go-to graphic designer for Steven Soderbergh and David Fincher, noted for his minimalist technique and unconventional use of type.

Posters are more often than not the first things we see during a movie’s marketing campaign. They provide us with a little snapshot of what’s to come, and if they’re done right, posters can completely embody the style, tone, and content of an entire film. Case in point: The Exorcist.
It doesn't matter how good word-of-mouth is, if the poster sucks, we might not want to see the movie. Yes, we do occasionally judge a book (or movie) by its cover. Yet sometimes posters are more memorable or even better than the actual movies they’re promoting, and this year is no different. The films with 2014’s best posters are an interesting mix of critical darlings, surprise hits, underperformers, and box office bombs.

1. Frank
Those of us who care about movie posters often complain about “big head” posters from Hollywood studios, but the design for Lenny Abrahamson’s Frank is the ne plus ultra of big head posters: a poster for a film about a big head. The head in question is the papier-mâché noggin worn by Michael Fassbender’s title character, which was inspired by the nearly identical prop worn by Chris Sievey, a.k.a. Frank Sidebottom, the nasal-voiced troubadour from Timperley, Manchester, who famously covered the Sex Pistols (“Anarchy in Timperley”) and had his moment of cult fame in the 80s. The poster for Frank, designed by an as-yet uncredited designer at P+A studio (the anonymity seems apt) subverts the chief function of the big head poster by not showing us the film’s star. Gone Girl
Written by Gillian Flynn
Directed by David Fincher
USA, 2014
There’s something rotten in the state of Missouri, as one man’s wife has gone missing and he takes on the role of primary suspect, looking guiltier with every grimace. David Fincher’s latest film is Gone Girl, based on the best-selling novel from Gillian Flynn. It’s a film that festers and feels dead inside, but imbued with a lively pessimism, a stinging bitterness. It’s one of Fincher’s best films in years.
Fincher is an expert chemist when it comes to concocting the nastiest tales of cynicism and darkness. Gone Girl may not be the culmination of his efforts to date, but it’s undoubtedly a sinister piece of work. There’s an oppressive air within the film, from its meticulously created soundscape and score (from Fincher alums Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross) to its plasticized aesthetic.

Look, we know not all Photoshop artists were created equally, and perhaps poster art is not the domain for real art these days (folks like Neil Kellerhouse and Drafthouse artisans aside), but this recent poster for James Gray's upcoming indie drama "The Immigrant" is… let’s say politely, something else. Sure, even the original French poster had the three stars Marion Cotillard, Joaquin Phoenix and Jeremy Renner photoshopped together like they were members of the European 'Avengers,' but this North American poster for the film butchers Cotillard's beautiful face. Worse, Harvey Weinstein, or someone at TWC decided her headband was too French so it had to be photoshopped out, making her look even weirder (see the side by side comparison here). Hey, we get it. Photoshop poster art is often not very good, see Professor X blowing flame farts out of his wheelchair in the last X-Men poster for random example,...

A little later today, the first full trailer for "Gone Girl" will arrive (you can check out a teaser right here), but before that, a new poster has dropped. And it's keeping in the tradition of great artwork that accompanies David Fincher's films. No word yet on the designer (though it's probably not a longshot guess that Neil Kellerhouse was involved), but it's a pretty terrific riff on a breaking news report, this one chronicling the search for "Amazing Amy." Based on the novel by Gillian Flynn, the thriller tells the tale of a woman (Rosamund Pike) who disappears on her fifth wedding anniversary, with all the evidence pointing to her husband, Nick (Ben Affleck). And if you think you know the book, guess again because the author has penned a new ending. Co-starring Neil Patrick Harris, Tyler Perry, Kim Dickens, Patrick Fugit, Carrie Coon and Emily Ratajkowski, "Gone Girl...

As the folks at @A24Films pointed out on Twitter, the Scarlett Johansson-led sci-fi thriller Under the Skin is about a month away here in the United States. Director Jonathan Glazer’s latest is the story of an alien sent to Earth to seduce and capture human males, presumably for some sort of cosmic research project. Of course, her curiosity begins to get the best of her, leading to a number of unexpected consequences. The result is a sexy, mind-twisting alien thriller that’s already received a large amount of praise from critics and audiences at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival, landing it on our own list of the 52 Most Anticipated Movies of 2014. Needless to say, we’re interested to see this one when it hits theaters on April 4. But first, A24 has released a brand new domestic poster featuring a bit of innuendo. As well, artist Neil Kellerhouse — who was responsible for the stunning posters...

Clearly the work of Neil Kellerhouse is something I appreciate as the RopeofSilicon logo was inspired by his title treatment for David Fincher's Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. He's designed plenty of Criterion Collection covers -- Thin Red Line, The Seventh Seal, Walkabout -- and along with the art for Fincher's Dragon Tattoo, he sort of set the stage for the rise in massive type over a film protagonist's face with his art for The Social Network. Well, A24 commissioned Kellerhouse to make some posters for Jonathan Glazer's upcoming film Under the Skin, which stars Scarlett Johansson as an alien in human form, roaming through Scotland, "consuming" all she can. I caught the film at the Toronto Film Festival last year and in my review I called it a "highly existential experiment", adding: Writer/director Jonathan Glazer (along with co-writer Walter Campbell) have loosely adapted Michel Faber...

With the release less than a month away, A24 Films has debuted a new piece of art for Jonathan Glazer's sci-fi mind-bender Under the Skin, showing Scarlett Johansson's legs—oh my!—and not much else. TotalFilm has also debuted a set of minimalistic posters designed by Neil Kellerhouse, the same artist/designer responsible for Fincher's outstanding Girl with the Dragon Tattoo promo art (via The Film Stage on that tip). This first one below, with her bare legs, is pretty much a Criterion cover waiting to happen. In fact, any/all of these are. Nice work A24/Kellerhouse. Tired of the ordinary, routine and regular? Looking for something to truly work your intellect, expand the idea of what movies can be and even stir your heart? Then be sure to watch "Under The Skin" this spring. Even if you're just a semi-regular visitor, you've likely heard us blow the trumpet for this one hard since we first caught it at the Venice Film Festival last year. The latest from Jonathan Glazer stars Scarlett Johansson as a man-eating alien, but that hardly even begins to describe the otherworldy film. Shot with non-actors, featuring minimal dialogue and tremendous visual scope and scale, it's almost indescribable. All we'll say is see it and we really hope the score by Mica Levi is getting an official release. Check out the beautiful new poster below, designed by Neil Kellerhouse. "Under The Skin" opens on April 4th. And stay tuned because a new trailer drops tomorrow.

At this point, I don’t think any of us know quite what to expect from Spike Lee’s curious remake of Park Chan-wook’s undeniable modern classic, Oldboy. A literal Hollywood remake of the Korean original would be impossible to exist, but then there must be a new way that Lee thinks he can tell this particularly disturbing revenge tale, otherwise why would he bother? I’m not buying it’s because of the money… there’s much easier, less controversial and less hard-work ways to make money as a “director for hire” these days.
The curtain of mystery that hangs over Lee’s Oldboy should be well drawn by the end of this week. The first full length trailer is set to be unleashed on Wednesday, but before that a rather fascinating one-sheet debut poster has been unveiled online.

In anticipation of a trailer debut this Wednesday, we've got your first look at the poster for Oldboy, coming to theaters on October 25. The poster is a shot from the film and is a nod to the forthcoming Red Band trailer. Head inside for a larger look.
Neil Kellerhouse designed the poster and the title treatment is Josh Brolin's real handwriting, as inspired by the handwritten letters his character writes to his daughter in the film.
Oldboy is a provocative, visceral thriller that follows the story of an advertising executive (Josh Brolin) who is abruptly kidnapped and held hostage for 20 years in solitary confinement. When he is inexplicably released, he embarks on an obsessive mission to discover who orchestrated his bizarre and torturous punishment only to find he is still trapped in a web of conspiracy and torment.

Spike Lee's remake of "Oldboy" is already one of the fall's most anticipated features, and the new poster for the film will do nothing to dampen early excitement.
Based on the cult favorite by Park Chan-wook, "Oldboy" tells the story of an advertising executive (Josh Brolin) who is kidnapped and imprisoned for 20 years without explanation. After his equally unexpected release, the man must figure out why he was captured in the first place. Elizabeth Olsen and Sharlto Copley co-star in the film, along with Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Imperioli and Lance Reddick.
The film's poster was designed by Neil Kellerhouse, the man behind art for "The Social Network," "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" and "Antichrist." The "Oldboy" poster uses Josh Brolin's actual handwriting to spell out the film's title (his character spends 20 years in solitary confinement writing notes to his daughter), while the image is pulled from the "Oldboy" trailer.

We're still a few months out from the debut of Spike Lee's remake of Park Chan-Wook's "Oldboy," with an October 25h release date planned, so it's understandable that we haven't seen too much promotional material yet, save for a teaser poster. Today FilmDistrict unveiled the first proper poster for the thriller, featuring the film's cool-looking star Josh Brolin, ahead of the red-band trailer which drops July 10th. According to FilmDistrict, the poster is a shot from the film (instead of a composed comp) and is a nod to the trailer -- "you’ll understand more once you see it," they promise. Neil Kellerhouse (who also worked on the poster design for "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo," another English-language remake helmed by an American auteur) designed the poster. The title treatment is Brolin’s real handwriting, inspired by the handwritten letters his character writes to his daughter in the film.

We've seen some unofficial versions floating around the interwebs, following this intriguing teaser poster launched this spring, and if anything, they've stoked curiosity and excitement for Spike Lee's remake of Park Chan-wook's "Oldboy." Well, a brand new one-sheet has arrived today and it's another tantalizing peek at one of the fall's most fascinating offerings. Neil Kellerhouse, the man behind memorable posters and designs for "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo," "The Social Network" and more, has put together this latest one sheet that has a bit more to it than meets than eye. First off, the image of Josh Brolin emerging from the chest? That's a shot from the actual film, and not a composite, while the title script is in the actor's own handwriting. (We won't say too much here, but those of you know that already know the story will understand the significance.) The big question of...

FilmDistrict has officially released the first poster for Spike Lee's remake of Oldboy along with news the red band trailer will be released this Wednesday, July 10. The studio was explicit in noting the below poster is "a shot from the film (instead of a composed comp) and is a nod to the trailer." Oldboy follows the story of an advertising executive (Josh Brolin) who is kidnapped and held hostage for 20 years in solitary confinement without any indication of his captor's motive. When he is inexplicably released, he embarks on an obsessive mission to discover who orchestrated his bizarre and torturous punishment only to find he is still trapped in a web of conspiracy and torment. His quest for revenge leads him into an ill-fated relationship with a young social worker (Elizabeth Olsen) and ultimately to an illusive man (Sharlto Copley) who allegedly holds the key to his salvation. Neil Kellerhouse...

We've got your first look at the poster for Oldboy , coming to theaters on October 25. The poster is a shot from the film and is a nod to the Red Band trailer, which will come online on Wednesday. There is still a lot more to come in 2013, but so far the prize for best poster goes to Steven Soderbergh's "Side Effects." The latest one sheet for the psychological thriller is a pretty solid little piece of work that gets the point across without resorting to putting a bunch of big heads in a pill bottle (or something equally obvious and terrible). No surprise then it comes from Neil Kellerhouse, the man behind memorable one sheets for "The Social Network," "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo," "Haywire," and many, many more. Rooney Mara leads the movie, playing a young woman who turns to meds prescribed by her doctor (Jude Law), to deal with her rising anxiety as her husband (Channing Tatum) gets released from prison. From there, things get out of control, and as the tagline suggets, the desire to feel better may come with a price tag that's an even heavier burden.

As promised by Trent Reznor, tons of details on his six LP, 39-track Ost for The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo have been revealed tonight, including a particularly special surprise. Composed with his cohort of the Oscar-winning The Social Network score Atticus Ross, we have a song to stream now, as well as the full tracklist, pre-order details, party announcement and much more. We’ll kick things off with a message from Trent Reznor himself on his official site:
For the last fourteen months Atticus and I have been hard at work on David Fincher’s “The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo”. We laughed, we cried, we lost our minds and in the process made some of the most beautiful and disturbing music of our careers. The result is a sprawling three-hour opus that I am happy to announce is available for pre-order right now for as low as $11.99. The...

As year-end lists, critics’ best of 2011 and big awards start to roll in, it’s with a pang of regret that "Best Marketing Campaign" won’t be amongst the honors bestowed. If it was, the clear winner would be the Jason Segel-revived “The Muppets” with the David Fincher and Neil Kellerhouse guided industrial gothic “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” trailers and poster art in a close second.

We all knew that nipple-baring, Nsfw poster for David Fincher‘s The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo wasn’t going to be the final design. The great Neil Kellerhouse is at it again and the final poster design for this dark crime adaptation has been released. Donning the new tagline, “What is hidden in snow comes forth in the thaw,” the phrase has been used for their extensive viral campaign.

Mikael Blomkvist Gets Inside Lisbeth Salander's Head In New 'The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo' Poster
The campaign for David Fincher's "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" has been moving steadily along. Last week, when some vintage footage of the accident that kicks of the story landed online, savvy viewers picked up some clues hidden within that led to a viral site What Is Hidden In Snow which has been slowly revealing geographic locations where fans can track down a framed flower like this--just like the ones Henrik Vanger receives in the book/film--with a signed card from Fincher. And tonight, another treat courtesy of MouthTapedShut. A brand new, and typically great, Neil Kellerhouse-designed poster for the…...

One of my biggest problems with the Swedish Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, a movie I don’t like all too much to begin with, was its baffling length of 150 minutes. When you have a story that wouldn’t be out of place on an episode of Cold Case, giving me something roughly as long as There Will Be Blood doesn’t make any sense.
Mix this feeling and latest development with my significant excitement over David Fincher‘s version, and I’m kind of conflicted. ThePlaylist reports that Sony is currently having some contentions with the director over the movie’s runtime since, according to their report, his cut presently stands at three hours, and Sony would like “nothing longer than two hours and twenty minutes.”
Notwithstanding the fact that this happens all the time, Fincher does have a minor history when it comes to runtimes; if you remember,...

The marketing campaign for David Fincher's "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" has been pretty savvy thus far. Of course, there is the whole "fake" leak of the red band trailer this summer; the boob baring poster; the surprise showing of eight minutes of footage in front of "Straw Dogs" and most recently the nearly four-minute official trailer. But for the super obsessive, there has been even more to enjoy. Over at the unofficial/official Tumblr page Mouth Taped Shut tons of behind-the-scenes pics have dropped, as well as concept art by Neil Kellerhouse for posters for the film. But this…...

“Don’t Judge a Book by Its Cover” is a proverb whose simple existence proves the fact impressionable souls will do so without fail. This monthly column focuses on the film industry’s willingness to capitalize on this truth, releasing one-sheets to serve as not representations of what audiences are to expect, but as propaganda to fill seats. Oftentimes they fail miserably.
Thank goodness for the fall season. Not only are the films better, but the artwork generally has its own yummy indie flavor too. Close-up faces covered by sans-serif text reign supreme and somehow don’t wear out their welcome as big budget tentpoles dump boring rehashed character collages to assuage actor egos. If a Johnny Depp vehicle can be marketed without his adored visage on the one-sheet, you know the design world still has some tricks up their sleeves. If only they’d use them more regularly.

Daniel Craig is shadowed by Rooney Mara in the new poster for The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo...
Well, friends, if ever you had a desire to see a movie poster with part of Daniel Craig’s face missing, then we’re pleased to tell you that your day has come. The latest poster for The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, the new take on the Stieg Larsson novel that’s been directed by David Fincher, has been unleashed into the world.
Look closely, though. Because the silhouette you see cutting into Daniel Craig’s face? That’s the mush of Rooney Mara, his co-star in the film.
The poster is the work of Neil Kellerhouse, and it debuted over at Mouth Taped Shut. The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, meanwhile, arrives in cinemas in December.

I'm guessing the film will turn out pretty well, but I have to say the marketing for David Fincher's The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo has been some of the best I've seen in a while. And I'm not just saying that because its first poster had a topless girl in it. Rather, the promotional materials have actual thought put into them, and here with this new poster from graphic artist Neil Kellerhouse they've done a new take on the "giant celebrity head" theory that plagues most...

Evil shall with evil be expelled. This has been quite a week for early buzz on David Fincher's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, starting with one of the most talked about 8-minute trailers of the year that everyone loved, that Muppets parody trailer, and plenty of updates on the viral Tumblr blog mouth-taped-shut.com. One of the other updates on that blog that I just have to share here is a new poster, created by graphic artist Neil Kellerhouse (who also created the first nude poster for this), that merges the faces of Daniel Craig as Mikael Blomkvist and Rooney Mara as Lisbeth Salander in a fantastically unique design. See it below! The photo above was also from Mouth Taped Shut. Here's the teaser trailer, with the full trailer on the way. A journalist is aided in his search for a woman who'd been missing, or dead, for forty years,...

When a film gets as engaging and thrilling a trailer as the one that Steven Soderbergh’s upcoming film, Contagion, had received, one would expect an equally amazing poster. However, while the first true one sheet for the upcoming film is fine, it’s not as inspired as the much talked about trailer.
Yahoo has the poster, which is best described as a collection of the six previously released character posters, with a great tagline, reading “nothing spreads like fear.” Again, the poster isn’t the most inspired of promotional materials, but it is very much a worthwhile, and beautiful, poster.
That said, this does appear like a much more studio-backed poster, particularly more than the Neil Kellerhouse poster for Soderbergh’s next feature, Haywire. I’m not hugely sold on this poster, but overall is a very serviceable bit of art, and something that will hold one over until...

He's the graphic designer behind the posters for "The Social Network," "I'm Still Here," "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo," and more recently "Haywire" (which you can read more about here) among many others. He's also done work for The Criterion Collection, Pixar, and gets regular calls to work with directors like Steven Soderbergh and David Fincher. Kellerhouse appeals to these big names because his pieces are striking and often, for lack of a better term, "out of the box" of what is required to market…...

That's right! Just in time for Comic-Con, the kind folks over at Relativity Films have given us an exclusive poster premiere for Haywire. The film is the latest from acclaimed director, Steven Soderbergh, and stars newcomer and Mma fighting champion Gina Carano. Director Steven Soderbergh also wanted to provide a personal quote on the Haywire poster and specifically the acclaimed designer Neil Kellerhouse (www.kellerhouse.com). Here’s the quote from Soderbergh... "When we were working on Bubble, I wanted to make sure we came up with a one-sheet that was…well, as odd as the movie. Or as 'distinctive.' Whatever. So I was looking at some of the Criterion Collection dvds which had really striking artwork, and I called Kim Hendrickson and asked who did the...

Channing Tatum’s Steven Soderbergh-directed action film ‘Haywire‘ will reportedly hit theaters this summer. Although the official poster has not been released yet, a slew of beautifully designed concept posters (seen below) have hit the web via a Gina Carano fan site and The Playlist, and both sites are reporting that the posters may be the work of talented Los Angeles based graphic designer Neil Kellerhouse.
‘Haywire‘ is about a black ops spy (Carano) who’s betrayed by her team and goes rogue in an attempt to figure out who’s setting her up. While everyone is on the same side initially, the film supposedly features a lot of duplicity, double crosses, and reversals of allegiances.
